    I would like to give you a big thank you for doing this tutorail! I tried to figure how to work things out without knowledge in this program and it worked. I appreciate you effort.

    Hello Vladimir , thanks for this video
    I have a die-shaped punch set and I would like to know how to go about simulating the force of the punch on the sheet metal so that it deforms and takes the shape of the punch. May you guide me on how to to do , thanks a lot

      Hi Frederic, thanks for your question. In Creo Simulate is possible to calculate non linear analysis. I do not have this licenses type (I use Creo Simulate extension only) If I remember, you need to use Creo simulate advanced licenses (non linear included, but speak with PTC reseller)
      I only know that you will calculate it by this Creo simulate analysis type and system will calculate the values determined for yield stress and tensile strength (necessary for this deformation of Sheetmetal form feature).
      Good luck and stay tuned. Vladimir

    I am a beginner in using Creo for checking the stability of parts of stone crusher machines.
    Kindly share me the links to similar simulation videos such as, gear box, motor mounting on machine plate.

    Hello, Vladimir! Creo Simulate 7 and higher has tool "Joints". May be you know how to create joints (spherical, translational) in Creo Simulate 6? Thanks!

    • @4kside
      @4kside  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for question, but I have used Creo 6 only in short time (I am not deep in this data code)
      Also now I use Creo 4 "only" but soon we have plan to start to use Creo 8 (next few months)
      I have to check all new features and... Then maybe.. I will find some solution for you. 👍👌
      Stay tuned, Vladimir

    Hello vladimir, I am running this basic simulation for sheet metal parts with zinc coating. PTC has the material.of steel.galvanized, what do you recommend, should I input the data from supplier? And what kind of data do I need? Like young modulus, poisson ratio , density, tensile stress limit etc?

      Hi Kashif, in Creo are materials which are able to use for standard calculations. If you have your own material, you can create new one and reuse many times. As you can see in some tutorials I use my custom materials. Update existing one, set custom name and change all relevant information (all what you can find from material list)

      @@4kside can you also cover simulation with nut/bolted assemblies?

    • @4kside
      @4kside  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is also possible. You can create assembly and run analysis on this assembly (the separate models can be defined with different materials)

    A guide wizard pops up every time I click simulate and when I close it it knocks me out of simulation environment

      Please check if you have correct instalation of Creo Simulate (it has to be installed in your pc)
