I absolutely love that you have started planning for Christmas. It’s my very favorite holiday and I love wrapping and giving gifts. This year I am going to try and make more of the gifts I give, so will be watching your channel closely as well as making things I have been perfecting since I got my craft room (well I’m using our garden summerhouse as my craft room) a big thank you so much for sharing xxx
Hi shannon I just want to say thanks for all the brilliant ideas you shared, I especially liked the craft kit and advent calendar ideas they can be done without a decal machine too. I'm from the UK and so I can easily come up with alternative ideas for those particular ones.thank you and stay safe always X ❤ X
If you have more time than money, give time to neighbors, friends and family for whatever they need done. Bake something for someone, or babysit to give a harried couple a "Date Night." If you have a particular expertise, give out a "gift certificate" for a session involving something you can do that someone else can't. Give a "gift certificate" for pet or house sitting instead of charging for it, or pick up prescriptions for an elderly person or run errands for them. Give someone the gift of your company, or put together puzzles or read with a shut-in. You won't earn money with these ideas, but you will save on expenditures. "Cost avoidance!"
Your hair looks beautiful! I love your ideas for starter kits! And you're right, personalized gifts for babies & pets are great! I do the 3 times my cost as well! What would your hourly rate be for gift wrapping for someone? I love all of your ideas! I did craft shows for 3 years, I did really well the 1st 2 years, but the 3rd year was not so great...I always take the bad w/ the good! I did enjoy it. I had a customer look for me every year, that made me feel special & proud! ❤ As always, thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas w/ us! Stay safe, healthy and positive! God bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
Thank you I'm going to do a few of these. Also when you was talking about dog treats, I got the idea that my granddaughter and myself could come up with a few different years and try them out on our family dogs and sell them at the farmers market next year. It won't help this year but it will next year. I also thought about seeing if the vet hospital and vet clinic will let me take there.
I was going to grab the last 2 plastic mats for the dog/cat dishes but I noticed the pattern was raised on it, how is it holding up with the vinyl on it? Just wondering before I buy any. Thanks Shannon
@@TheCozyChristmasCottage - thank you for sharing these wonderful ideas with us. I am really hoping to find that beautiful Christmas sign too, but just in case they don't have it - can you please let me know what the measurements are? If they don't have them again this year I can try my hand at recreating one with my Cricut. Thank you so very much and I LOVE LOVE LOVE both of your TH-cam channels! Looking forward to seeing all of your upcoming tutorials! Take care and stay safe!
You can go to USPS.com and they have a calculator. You type in the measurements of the box and the weight (would need a scale that does Oz.) You can print labels through them directly at a discount vs. taking it to the PO too and save a little extra that way too. Etsy has their own system and you can also print through PayPal.com/shipnow if you have a PayPal account. I hope that helps!
@@TheCozyChristmasCottage Thank you for letting me know. I hope, you open before Christmas as I would like to buy a couple vinyls. (I can’t justify the cost of buying a Cricket-I’m in my 70s.) 🥰
I think the wrapping paper ones were about $10-$12 at the craft show. We didn’t get to go last year bc of Covid so it’s been a minute. For sure going this year if al goes well 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️

Yikes! You must not be a beader. You should NEVER use regular thread for beading! It breaks far too easily. For a beginner, stretch cord is an absolute must. Directions should also be inserted as well as a few design ideas.
I just love your videos, BUT our $$ Tree stinks. It never has much in the way of decorations and craft stuff to make this and your signs and ornaments. :(
You could make personalized return address labels or sticker type tags for ppl using your Cricut. You can also earn points that turns into money by scanning your receipts into the Fetch app. 😉 TFS! ❤
Love the kit ideas. For advent calendars, you could also add daily activities like singing a carol, or writing a letter to Santa.
Love those ideas too!!
I think this was very sweet of you, thank you. ☺️💞
I absolutely love this holiday channel 🤩

Thank you! I have a reverse barrel curling iron so it is large at the end and skinny at the handle.
You can use that bead pack and some wire to make cute spider ornaments also. 🕷️

It takes a little extra time to make sure it is stuck down around those paw prints but the vinyl is doing great!
@@TheCozyChristmasCottage thanks Shannon

I saw them at Kirklands last year.

Look at Kirkland online only available in stores. I don't have a Kirkland in Massachusetts. I guess I am going to have to find a way to DIY it myself.
Great ideas. Thank you. 💜

What about shipping cost if I were to ship something someone bought from me . How would I determine that?..

Do you have suggested prices for these items?
Either hourly rate plus supplies cost. Or supplies cost x 3
Did you close your Etsy shop?
It is on vacation right now.

Dollar Tree bottles aren’t very durable.
I agree! Maybe another store would still have affordable options with better quality
I wish you'd think about getting a microphone. I always have such a hard time hearing and understanding you.
