Great tutorial video on the seat you don't see a lot of this around when I did mine in our sprinter I wish I had this video.

We have the same year /type of van. Love see ing what you have done. We are slowly adding to our basic build out. Which swivel did you use here? Thanks

Thats cool your building a T1n. Were big fans of the dependability of the T1n’s. I can’t exactly remember which brand the swivels are. I want to say it’s sportcraft but this model is not available anymore that I can tell from an online search. They do raise the seat about an 1.25” or so. We love them though and they are a big part if our layout. We need to make an update video where the van is now. Its basically done with a handful of items to complete. Thanks for watching.

I did not do the swivel seat moD but i removed my handbrake pin and cannot seem to get it back in place. The cable is an inch below the slot! No matter how hard i pull i cant get the cable holes to line up. Any suggestions?

I would check if somehow the cable got caught on something under the van or maybe you just feeling the tension of the return spring of the brakes. You can crawl under the van and see the cable go from upfront through the floor to an adjustable assembly at the rear. I suppose That adjustable assembly could have somehow moved on you and is now tighter. I found its difficult to tell how tight the cable can be without making the brakes rub during driving. Good luck and Let me know if you get it. Have a great day!

So how well does the E brake work on hills now? How many clicks do you need to be safe?

The E brake doesn’t hold that great on a hill until you pull it up to the point that the seat wont spin. It might be possible to make adjustments that would make it work perfectly but I didn’t want the brakes to rub.

Can you share where you purchased your swivel adapters & brake adapter? The parts look durable compared to some I have seen. I am building a 2006 by myself on my channel. Feel free to take a look & steal ideas etc. It's great seeing others do these builds especially when they are the same model. I may be a little farther along but I have ALOT going on in mine & I'm an old guy so you will probably catch up. Lol I spent 6 months just designing mine & I haven't seen one like it so far. Will be fully self sustainable midsize & I haven't seen to many extended versions that are fully self sustainable. You would be surprised what you can do if you put some time in design before you start. Subscribing to your channel to watch your progress. Thanks in advance feel free to drop in questions about mine in my comments. Here to help anyone. It's not ez building an entire house in 60 square feet but I have almost 40 years in the trades.
    😎👍

We got the swivel adapters from the Sprinter parts and service store in Portland OR. It comes with the E brake adapter. The brand is Sports craft. I am very happy with how sturdy they are. I think they were about $150 each plus shipping which is fairly hight due to the weight. We actually went and picked them up. seems like prices have went up since we got these. They have good prices but bad service and I have had to call them so many times because they wouldn’t get back to me.

You didn’t show any of the important details like which side of the swivel base is up which side is down, it’s a lever facing to the front or to the back, not much to learn here sorry

Sorry about that….To figure out which side is up just make sure the labels are facing upright. The lever goes towards the door. The swivel plates come as a driver side or passenger side not universal. The holes only line up in one position. Good luck!
