theory: The people with the initial D are all descendent’s of joyboy’s crew mates, thats why they all are from different races and have nothing in common other than their initial ‘D’ and they all wear strawhats. the gaint strawhat in marijoes is not joyboy’s hat but it’s one of his crew mate’s(gaint) hat And all of the chamber’s that are shown in that panel are filled with other members strawhat and IMU is collecting all of it to stop the ‘inheriting the will’ thing. the only strawhat that is missing in that collection is joyboy’s hat.

I started watching this on a whim, figuring I’d stop watching if it became uninteresting or edgy with the theory…but then you hit me with “Luffy’s dream is to throw the biggest party in the world” and I cried, and laughed. My brother passed away a few days ago, he always wanted to follow his dreams as well as see his family including myself succeed, the section on inherited will made me cry and honestly really helped the way I look at things, were still here, we still remember him and I know one of his dreams was to see me succeed, so I will do my best for him and inherit his will. I always assumed the Straw Hat was the key to the One Piece treasure, and that Roger laughed because he had possessed the key all along, but by the time he finally got to his destination, he'd already given the hat to Shanks. That was fate's way of telling him it would be a future generation that would bring the dawn, not him.
You brought me to tears when you explained what that giant party at the end of skypiea meant. It amazes me how a story that followed me my whole life can still bring me to tears with things new things even if they happened over 10 years ago.

I don't think the one piece is a piece of sake. I think the one piece is a piece of ocean connected together. Sounds ridiculous but really,now the sea is not in one piece. It is in Four piece.East blue,north blue ,south blue and west blue. What is more bigger treasure to luffy than seeing all the people connceted together happily in one piece of ocean?I think none. That's why fishman Island will got destroyed according to madam sharley,when luffy destroy Marijois above it(and also reverse mountain). i think that knowing joyboy cannot achieve his goal in his lifetime, he decided to trust his will to fate for future generations to inherit. So he constructed this song as a secret message for the future joyboy because he wanted that person to know that he wanted to exchange a cup of sake with the greatest man in history just like him but due to time being a boundary between them, he purposely left it on Raftel island to test the worthiness of this man. When Gol D Roger arrived at the island, they thought his idea was funny that's why they laughed about it, but they also respect his dedication and left it alone because Roger was "too early". Roger was inspired by joyboy and made a plan to help him achieve his dream, that is why he decided to be executed at a plaza where many people could hear him say that he left the "One Piece" so that he would inspire everyone and potentially the next joyboy search and reach for the island and discover the sake that the previous joyboy left. Them delivering "Bink's sake" means making a time capsule sake for the future where the sun would rise again. Joy boy's ultimate dream was to exchange a sake with the person that will liberate the sea from the World Government.

It's sometimes hard for me to fathom just how long I've been tied to the fate of this incredible story, it's beginnings from a previous Century, and the man....the genius who works so hard to bring this story to us week in and week out. I'm quickly closing in on age 60, and it blows my mind to think back to when the story first hit the shelves back in the 90's. I was in my late 20's then and had always followed tons of Manga and any imported anime from Japan or from any other country abroad. When One Piece was made into an Anime and broadcast on TV, I was in my early- mid 30's and was ecstatic that it had hit the big time and Toei had picked it up. Little did I know back then that this story would carry with me both into parenthood, and now as a grandparent! hehe 😁 One Piece is now enjoyed by 3 generations of my family, and quite often becomes the "current" topic of discussion during gatherings. I wish with all my heart that when it's time for me to pass this life, that my soul "remembers" this story and takes it with me onto my next life and the adventure that awaits.... ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
@aniotaku I started my kids on One Piece at the tender age of 8yrs respectfully. The whole "Ace" thing didn't come up until they were both Tweens, the moral compass that Oda has laid bare at our feet for over 2 decades has helped make an impact on their development to grow with lots of self-esteem, and also to learn from mistakes or losses and gain strength in the knowledge acquired from whatever scenario had happened. And now, We all work diligently on my grandkids to gain that same Powerful "Moral Compass" So they'll be ready for the world when they get older. thanks for the replies and like everyone. I think the idea of luffy's dream being to throw the biggest party in the world makes a lot of sense. It's pretty much agreed upon that the dream that luffy told sabo and ace about when they were kids was that he wanted to be free, but it would make more sense for it to be something silly, because let's be honest, that's what luffy is, just a goofy guy

Hello! I'm surprised you didn't mention the straw hat's ship names in the first two hours of the video. The Merry feels like a prelude to Laugh Tale, and a nod to Luffy's true goal. And the Sunny represents the sun that the crew rides into the new world.

In ANY other context, a shounen main character's end goal being to throw a giant party would be ridiculous, but in the context of One Piece and Luffy it's so fitting that it loops right back around to being beautiful.
Now whenever sake is mentioned in the story I always think of this, especially with Kaido and how much of an alcoholic he is, drinking in the middle of his fight with Luffy

What if the sake brewed while waiting for you is spoken by Kaido given recent events? He is waiting for the joyboy to come change the world and has time and again been disappointed. Now and only now after Luffy has risen to the challenge is he opening the barrel to share in this fight to change fate.
This entire Theory was a journey through the World of One Piece. But the Finale, its just on another Level. SPOILER FOR VIDEO I got chills when you connected all the points and said "The Sake i brew for you, strawhat luffy" as Joyboys words.
Such a wonderful voyage this is, such a great journey you have put together and piece it together. There is no words, all I can say is see how this unravels at the end, together.
Something while he was talking about racism, it struck me that Luffy must represent all of the races. His fighting style encoroorates themes from every race: gear 3rd represents gaints, gear fourth represents the minks through snake and bound man being inspired by animals he fought with reighley, gear 2nd involves pumping oxygen through his body which could represent fishmen breathing on land (that’s the loosest one) and Zoro and Sanji as his wings represent the shandorians.

You know listening to this I actually drew an unexpected line of logic. Has anyone ever noticed the straw hat has a a red clothe piece around it, obvious right? However has anyone thought that the straw hat might actually be symbolism for the world for One Piece? I mean it DOES have a red line going across it. A world to wear fitting for the Pirate King. On a theory about the hat and the possible end game of the manga: maybe it will be fate in the end for Luffy to be the Pirate King because of the Hat's very existence, because maybe it's not "fate" helping him to be the Pirate King, but that mysterious man who is overlooking the bigger Straw Hat. Maybe that hat has special spying capabilities imbued by a Devil Fruit Power and this person is purposely helping Luffy, so this overseer can "groom" Luffy to be a King. If this is true I believe Luffy will end up rejecting the idea of becoming the Pirate King and will break the Red Line in a last fight against the overseer, or maybe will fight the overseer in an attempt to free himself from the shackle of the overseer's clairvoyance. If the Red Line does break, I believe the Straw Hat's red clothe will tear off as well and will no longer wrap around the hat. Thinking about it more, the hat IS a Straw Hat: a hat made of bunch of other straws, probably symbolizing people (a.k.a. the Straw Hat Pirates, or anyone joining Luffy's side). So when all the straw is released from the red clothe the Straw Hat will unfold into a circular piece symbolizing the world of One Piece is free from the overseer and finally united, or free from being completely bent from the ruling class.

Luffy Is A Mythical Monkey Man, Not A Rubber Man This theory will try to explain the connection between Zunesha, Luffy and what the Gorosei were talking about the mysterious devil fruit thah the World Goverment had changed its name. Luffy real devil fruit is not Gomu Gomu No Mi (paramecia), its really a mythical zoan called "Saru Saru No Mi Model Hanuman" (Monkey Monkey Fruit Model Hanuman) Ok, lets me explain. It has lots to do with Hindu Myhtology, and i'm not an expert in those field but i will try my best. i. Zunesha The name Zunesha was adopted from Ganesha, the gods of prosperity and wisdom. He is also known as "The Lord Of The People" and "The Remover Of Obstacles" which kinda foreshadow the motive of Zunesha arrival in the latest chapter. In the old mythology Hanuman have a strong connection with Ganesha, hence Zunesha also share some connection with Luffy. There is many possibility why Zunesha arrived at Wano. Maybe to protect The Minks tribe who Zunesha has considered as "his people". Or maybe there is another possibility. Zunesha detected something, or rather Someone. I believe Gorosei was informed about the arrival of Zunesha. And they actually knew the connection between Zunesha and the mysterious devil fruit. Thats why they were shocked by Zunesha action or rather Reaction. Zunesha came to Wano because he is reacting to the awekening of Hanuman. Hanuman And Luffy Hanuman and luffy share some (many) traits and backstory Hanuman is a War General, known for his might and also his strong leadership in several war like The Battle of Lanka, leading many tribes and species to war. This is also the case with Luffy, great leadership, leads wars, befriend anyone, can lead and motivates everybody. Luffy is reincarnation of Joy Boy (always shown smiling). Hanuman is reincarnation of Shiva. Shiva is known to destroy Tripura (three cities made of gold, silver and iron) with just a SMILE. Hanuman is son of Vayu, God of Wind and Air. Luffy is son of Dragon, although never shown but many believe have some sort of devil fruit that can control air/cloud/storm. Hanumon once thought the sun is a golden color fruit, then try to reach the sky to obtain the sun. He is later stopped and punished by Indra, the god of storm Luffy once reached the sky, found the golden Bell fought Enel along the way who believed he is the god of storm. Hanuman was once caught when he tries to save Sita, wife of Ramayana. When the enemy try to burn his tail, Hanuman evades the fire by changing the length of his limb. Luffy obviously can stretch his limbs. The goverment use this as a coverup and said hanuman fruit is just a rubber fruit. Maybe the unawakened Hanuman fruit only got access to this one ability. iv. Sun God Nika, Joyboy and Luffy is connected As previously stated, Hanuman once tries to eat the sun. Luffy never tries this, but a very long time ago a certain person maybe. Sun God Nika seemed to be a lanky, warrior-like figure with "Noodly Limbs" and flame-shaped hair. He is said to be the leader of slaves that will one day bring "smiles" to them. His image is clearly smiling and looks like a joyful person. Nika once attempt to do something with the sun, or got some power related to fire/heat, got famous for it and later called as the Sun God Nika. Noodly limbs could also imply that Nika is the previous owner of the Gomu Gomu/Hanuman fruit. Back to Hanuman story, after he is caught trying to obtain the sun, he got punished and sustained an injury on his body. His father go on a strike and blocked the air from all living creature. The gods needs Vayu to calm down or all living things will die without air. They healad Hanuman, but also give him some boons which is resistant towards LIGHTNING and FIRE. On the other hand Luffy try to take the Sun for himself (Ace the Mera Mera No Mi), punished by the magma, got a permanent injury on his chest, and later developed a fire attack and he is resistant to his own FIRE. As we all knew Luffy is already resistant towards LIGHTNING. v. Memory Erased Hanuman memory was once erased by the higher gods, because he is kinda mischief and displeased the gods. He forgot about his real strength and capability for a while. The Hanuman fruit real name and powered is erased by the higher hands because of something the previous owner may had done to the Higher Goverment and Luffy never knew his real strength and his fruit capability. vii. Conclusion Luffy real devil fruit is not Gomu Gomu No Mi, its Saru Saru No Mi Model Hanuman a really rare powerful mythical zoan which the previous owner wrecks the old ruling government. Edit: I missed a detail about the tragedy after Impel "Hanuman leap for the sun proves to be fatal and he is burnt to ashes from the sun's heat. His ashes fall onto the earth and oceans. Gods then gather the ashes and his bones from land and, with the help of FISHES, re-assemble him." (Hanuman's Tale: The Messages of a Divine Monkey. Oxford University Press. ) This happens to luffy after impel, luffy got burned by magma, lost his bro (fire), lost his will to live, until a certain fishman brought him back to life.
Great theory and linking, however this doesn’t explain Luffy’s ability to stretch and insulate electricity. Also, Luffy recently started igniting and using fire in his attacks.

My brother passed away a few days ago, he always wanted to follow his dreams as well as see his family including myself succeed, the section on inherited will made me cry and honestly really helped the way I look at things, were still here, we still remember him and I know one of his dreams was to see me succeed, so I will do my best for him and inherit his will. I always assumed the Straw Hat was the key to the One Piece treasure, and that Roger laughed because he had possessed the key all along, but by the time he finally got to his destination, he'd already given the hat to Shanks. i think that knowing joyboy cannot achieve his goal in his lifetime, he decided to trust his will to fate for future generations to inherit. So he constructed this song as a secret message for the future joyboy because he wanted that person to know that he wanted to exchange a cup of sake with the greatest man in history just like him but due to time being a boundary between them, he purposely left it on Raftel island to test the worthiness of this man. When Gol D Roger arrived at the island, they thought his idea was funny that's why they laughed about it, but they also respect his dedication and left it alone because Roger was "too early". Roger was inspired by joyboy and made a plan to help him achieve his dream, that is why he decided to be executed at a plaza where many people could hear him say that he left the "One Piece" so that he would inspire everyone and potentially the next joyboy search and reach for the island and discover the sake that the previous joyboy left. Them delivering "Bink's sake" means making a time capsule sake for the future where the sun would rise again.
Joy boy's ultimate dream was to exchange a sake with the person that will liberate the sea from the World Government.

It's sometimes hard for me to fathom just how long I've been tied to the fate of this incredible story, it's beginnings from a previous Century, and the man....the genius who works so hard to bring this story to us week in and week out. I'm quickly closing in on age 60, and it blows my mind to think back to when the story first hit the shelves back in the 90's. I was in my late 20's then and had always followed tons of Manga and any imported anime from Japan or from any other country abroad. When One Piece was made into an Anime and broadcast on TV, I was in my early- mid 30's and was ecstatic that it had hit the big time and Toei had picked it up. Little did I know back then that this story would carry with me both into parenthood, and now as a grandparent! hehe 😁 One Piece is now enjoyed by 3 generations of my family, and quite often becomes the "current" topic of discussion during gatherings. The whole "Ace" thing didn't come up until they were both Tweens, the moral compass that Oda has laid bare at our feet for over 2 decades has helped make an impact on their development to grow with lots of self-esteem, and also to learn from mistakes or losses and gain strength in the knowledge acquired from whatever scenario had happened. And now, We all work diligently on my grandkids to gain that same Powerful "Moral Compass" So they'll be ready for the world when they get older. thanks for the replies and like everyone. I think the idea of luffy's dream being to throw the biggest party in the world makes a lot of sense. It's pretty much agreed upon that the dream that luffy told sabo and ace about when they were kids was that he wanted to be free, but it would make more sense for it to be something silly, because let's be honest, that's what luffy is, just a goofy guy

Hello! I'm surprised you didn't mention the straw hat's ship names in the first two hours of the video. The Merry feels like a prelude to Laugh Tale, and a nod to Luffy's true goal. And the Sunny represents the sun that the crew rides into the new world.
That and the fact that the void century was 900ish years ago and the “thousand sunny” might be an allusion to the 1000th year
Wasn't one of the first things that Luffy wanted for his crew a:
- Navigator (to find people to connect with/find crewmates to join him)
- Chef (to cook for him/for everyone)
- Musician

I went through the same thought process
When I first heard that the One Piece was sake, I thought it was kind of stupid, but now that I realize it is enough sake to share with the whole world, I now understand.
It may have already been said in the comments, but Tom would also always say, “do it with a Don”. I never knew what that meant until now, but your analysis of Binks’ Sake gave me a total lightbulb moment. Amazing video, man. Really outstanding stuff.
In ANY other context, a shounen main character's end goal being to throw a giant party would be ridiculous, but in the context of One Piece and Luffy it's so fitting that it loops right back around to being beautiful.

I got chills when you connected all the points and said "The Sake i brew for you, strawhat luffy" as Joyboys words.
Such a wonderful voyage this is, such a great journey you have put together and piece it together. There is no words, all I can say is see how this unravels at the end, together.
Something while he was talking about racism, it struck me that Luffy must represent all of the races. His fighting style encoroorates themes from every race: gear 3rd represents gaints, gear fourth represents the minks through snake and bound man being inspired by animals he fought with reighley, gear 2nd involves pumping oxygen through his body which could represent fishmen breathing on land (that’s the loosest one) and Zoro and Sanji as his wings represent the shandorians.

You know listening to this I actually drew an unexpected line of logic. Has anyone ever noticed the straw hat has a a red clothe piece around it, obvious right? However has anyone thought that the straw hat might actually be symbolism for the world for One Piece? I mean it DOES have a red line going across it. A world to wear fitting for the Pirate King.
On a theory about the hat and the possible end game of the manga: maybe it will be fate in the end for Luffy to be the Pirate King because of the Hat's very existence, because maybe it's not "fate" helping him to be the Pirate King, but that mysterious man who is overlooking the bigger Straw Hat. Maybe that hat has special spying capabilities imbued by a Devil Fruit Power and this person is purposely helping Luffy, so this overseer can "groom" Luffy to be a King. If this is true I believe Luffy will end up rejecting the idea of becoming the Pirate King and will break the Red Line in a last fight against the overseer, or maybe will fight the overseer in an attempt to free himself from the shackle of the overseer's clairvoyance. If the Red Line does break, I believe the Straw Hat's red clothe will tear off as well and will no longer wrap around the hat. Thinking about it more, the hat IS a Straw Hat: a hat made of bunch of other straws, probably symbolizing people (a.k.a. the Straw Hat Pirates, or anyone joining Luffy's side). So when all the straw is released from the red clothe the Straw Hat will unfold into a circular piece symbolizing the world of One Piece is free from the overseer and finally united, or free from being completely bent from the ruling class.

Luffy Is A Mythical Monkey Man, Not A Rubber Man
This theory will try to explain the connection between Zunesha, Luffy and what the Gorosei were talking about the mysterious devil fruit thah the World Goverment had changed its name.
Luffy real devil fruit is not Gomu Gomu No Mi (paramecia), its really a mythical zoan called "Saru Saru No Mi Model Hanuman" (Monkey Monkey Fruit Model Hanuman)
Ok, lets me explain. It has lots to do with Hindu Myhtology, and i'm not an expert in those field but i will try my best.
i. Zunesha
The name Zunesha was adopted from Ganesha, the gods of prosperity and wisdom. He is also known as "The Lord Of The People" and "The Remover Of Obstacles" which kinda foreshadow the motive of Zunesha arrival in the latest chapter.
In the old mythology Hanuman have a strong connection with Ganesha, hence Zunesha also share some connection with Luffy.
There is many possibility why Zunesha arrived at Wano. Maybe to protect The Minks tribe who Zunesha has considered as "his people". Or maybe there is another possibility. Zunesha detected something, or rather Someone.
I believe Gorosei was informed about the arrival of Zunesha. And they actually knew the connection between Zunesha and the mysterious devil fruit. Thats why they were shocked by Zunesha action or rather Reaction.
Zunesha came to Wano because he is reacting to the awekening of Hanuman.
Hanuman is the real nature of Gomu Gomu No Mi., and luffy is in the process of awakening it and discovering the truth.
ii. Inspiration
Oda once said that he is a big fan of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball and One Piece is partly inspired by his favourite Manga. As we all know, Son Goku is loosely adapted from Journey Of The West's main character, The Monkey King (Son Wukong). Journey To The West is a novel that revolve around The Mighty Monkey King and the Buddhist mythology, hence Oda adapted a Hindu mythology for his main character that also revolve about a tales of a powerful Monkey
iii. Hanuman And Luffy
Hanuman and luffy share some (many) traits and backstory
Hanuman is a War General, known for his might and also his strong leadership in several war like The Battle of Lanka, leading many tribes and species to war.
This is also the case with Luffy, great leadership, leads wars, befriend anyone, can lead and motivates everybody.
Luffy is reincarnation of Joy Boy (always shown smiling).
Hanuman is reincarnation of Shiva. Shiva is known to destroy Tripura (three cities made of gold, silver and iron) with just a SMILE.
Hanuman is son of Vayu, God of Wind and Air.
Luffy is son of Dragon, although never shown but many believe have some sort of devil fruit that can control air/cloud/storm.
Hanumon once thought the sun is a golden color fruit, then try to reach the sky to obtain the sun. He is later stopped and punished by Indra, the god of storm
Luffy once reached the sky, found the golden Bell fought Enel along the way who believed he is the god of storm.
Hanuman was once caught when he tries to save Sita, wife of Ramayana. When the enemy try to burn his tail, Hanuman evades the fire by changing the length of his limb.
Luffy obviously can stretch his limbs. The goverment use this as a coverup and said hanuman fruit is just a rubber fruit. Maybe the unawakened Hanuman fruit only got access to this one ability.
iv. Sun God Nika, Joyboy and Luffy is connected
As previously stated, Hanuman once tries to eat the sun. Luffy never tries this, but a very long time ago a certain person maybe.
Sun God Nika seemed to be a lanky, warrior-like figure with "Noodly Limbs" and flame-shaped hair. He is said to be the leader of slaves that will one day bring "smiles" to them. His image is clearly smiling and looks like a joyful person. Nika once attempt to do something with the sun, or got some power related to fire/heat, got famous for it and later called as the Sun God Nika.
Noodly limbs could also imply that Nika is the previous owner of the Gomu Gomu/Hanuman fruit.
Back to Hanuman story, after he is caught trying to obtain the sun, he got punished and sustained an injury on his body. His father go on a strike and blocked the air from all living creature. The gods needs Vayu to calm down or all living things will die without air. They healad Hanuman, but also give him some boons which is resistant towards LIGHTNING and FIRE.
On the other hand Luffy try to take the Sun for himself (Ace the Mera Mera No Mi), punished by the magma, got a permanent injury on his chest, and later developed a fire attack and he is resistant to his own FIRE. As we all knew Luffy is already resistant towards LIGHTNING.
v. Memory Erased
Hanuman memory was once erased by the higher gods, because he is kinda mischief and displeased the gods. He forgot about his real strength and capability for a while.
The Hanuman fruit real name and powered is erased by the higher hands because of something the previous owner may had done to the Higher Goverment and Luffy never knew his real strength and his fruit capability.
vii. Conclusion
Luffy real devil fruit is not Gomu Gomu No Mi, its
Saru Saru No Mi Model Hanuman
a really rare powerful mythical zoan which the previous owner wrecks the old ruling government.

This happens to luffy after impel, luffy got burned by magma, lost his bro (fire), lost his will to live, until a certain fishman brought him back to life.
Great theory and linking, however this doesn’t explain Luffy’s ability to stretch and insulate electricity. Also, Luffy recently started igniting and using fire in his attacks.
I like this theory, i mean it can be true . The main character got a power (in this case rubber) must be has a reason behind that.
