It's pretty ridiculous that it cuts out. The publisher of the music should have a full recording. Not just a little bit of it. It's pretty arbitrary if you ask me.

They do this because of “copyright” issues.
@_midori it’s not necessarily copyright, it may be to ensure that someone doesn’t steal and replicate the song from the score.
The only reason you are complaining is because you wanted to copy this recording instead of paying for it.

This brings me back, 6 years, wow, time has flown. I remember playing Trombone for this. I was 3rd seat, barely a beginner, but we did our best. I miss those days.
Great job! I miss the Big Bands. I would love to write tons of arrangements, but there would be no one to play them:( Oh well!
Last year our big band dissolved not because of corona but because of the lack of players, the lack of new blood. TH-cam and Instagram are more important to the kids nowadays... The other day i saw a T-Shirt with the print "In former times my social network was OUTSIDE". Gonna buy one LOL

Dam i remember i listend to this as a 8th grader wanting to play it so bad, -my friend had bought the song but our band wasn’t good enough lol- Now I’m a senior playing this to end off my high school band career. 😇
On everything i would’ve made LA Philharmonics one day i was that good. Was playing college level music in 8th grade, Covid happened and took me down a completely separate path
One thing. Im practising with this song and theres a part, that is cut from the original Charade, i wonder why.

+seniorreporter its essentially a trombone solo where the player can just improv whatever they want, so they cut out the majority of the solo section and skipped to the part that is a few bars ahead of where there is more happening with other instruments

In this recording, at measure 142 (the place where they fade in), they're playing way too loud. It's marked pianissimo. Sorry to be critiquing it.
