I've actually seen a fake iPhone 5 when I was in Asia. I compared it to my iPhone 5 side by side. And it looked the same. But the iOS software that comes with the fake iPhone 5 was a little different, the camera wasn't as good, and it was able to run android only apps. But it was interesting to see a really good fake copy
All Apple product may be constructed and assembled in China but exportation to the west compared to the east is different. You could buy the same product from a western country and it will be better quality than the one from the east, all because of quality control before entering the country.

The various taxes in China mean buying electronic items is very expensive. Hence why Chinese tourists seem to travel to Hong Kong with the one intention of shopping.

You guys do not follow the Chinese in the interview, and much was missed in translation. They addmitted it is (or was) an unauthorized retialor selling really apple products, and they decorated thier store much too like the offical Apple Store (while using the blue shirts).
