So what you guys may be missing is the fact this interview is a continuation from the movie that happened way back. There is a lot of inconsistencies from the story. Louis is telling Daniel today versus when they first met. Daniel is not trying to let Louis lie to him again
So he’s pressing those source spots because in order to truly tell an authentic story, you have to be honest at all times even about the difficult parts.
It also shows the disadvantage Claudia has because she’s still unfortunately a child. Her strength isn’t of those of her peers as well as abilities

She was 14 when she was turned!
If you guys have to urge to react to the 1994 movie do not watch it until AFTER you've seen season 2 other series. It will spoil mjor events of the story.
Once you've seen the finale which I know you have... (but I'm not sure all of your viewers have so I'll be vague) this scene feels MUCH weirder. 🥴 4:40
She was 14 when she turned.
this episode caused so many ppl to be upset when it originally aired 😂😂
The day this episode came out was the day I officially decided to quit Twitter, lmfao. I already people were gonna be pissed off and had no interest in that mess.
@@yasminemixon9340 yeah it was exhausting defending the show at that time, ppl already were dumping on it because Louis was black and not white like in the books smh
Hey guys! I was wondering why haven't you uploaded your ATLA reactions yet after episode 7 and 8? Or i just can't find them? Thanks
Zuff was sick so they took a small break until he got better
@@yasminemixon9340 oh okay! I thought they dropped it i couldn't find notice anywhere. Hope they took their time. Thank you by the way
Spoiler!!!
I can’t believe that Louis was sucking Rashid’s blood in front of Daniel because when two vampires suck each other’s blood that is then having sex (in the vampire chronicles, at least, blood sucking is an allegory) and they are doing it in front the f DANIEL, who then is Rashid’s lover 😭😭
book purist were also upset that lestat sucked louis blood in that domestic violence scene because that would be seen as "rwape" according to the books
@@Buniverself omg, I didn’t even think about that, but obviously we can rule it out because they do have sex in this adaptation
@@bibivallejo true
Where’s atla??!??? 👀👀👀
tomorrow!
It wasn't a cool vampire action scene, it wasn't even a fair fight. It was just one-sided domestic violence and I find it interesting that you guys didn't see it that way. As someone who went through similar experiences as a child, I could feel how scary and painful it must have been for Claudia.
Lestat is a monster. I am finding it hard to understand why he's so beloved. Show me a redeeming quality because I don't see it.
He has plenty, but it would be spoiler to say one to you, also, some of us really like fucked and evil characters, not everything needs to be "good" for us to enjoy and love a character
Yeah he’s a definitely a monster and definitely irredeemable, but some people like that in their fictional characters. I don’t personally like his character at all. I think he’s abusive and a tyrant but he’s acted EXTREMELY well by Sam Reid. I dislike his character but I so appreciate Sam Reid’s performance of him. It’s breathtaking. That’s why as much as I appreciate him getting his just deserts at the end of the season I was a tiny bit sad about it lol.
You are meant to not see it. Remember there are more than a dozen other books after this one. One page in one book can change the Universe for a good writer. And Anne was a great writer.
He’s the villain you love to hate. He’s just a drama queen, and dramatics move a story (especially like this) along.
@thatveryvvitch_ You are seeing a version of Lestat. Anne Rice had other plans for him
