A rolling disc from a slope also has the same expressions. I guess it shouldn't be the coincidance since the initial energy is shared by linear motion and rotational motion in the same way.
Calculate the center of rotation? Of mass? There is no center. Its pushed directly right angles to the center of rotation like an axle would be creating horizontal rotational torque
Great explanation! There’s one thing I don’t understand, what happens with the Work (T*h) the tension gives? Shouldn’t this be in the conservation of energy formula?
Hey, thanks so much for putting the time and effort in here! It really saved me time on my physics project-
These videos are pure gold
This was such a concise explanation. Thank you so much!
What a pure explanation. Why is this video has only 1.5k ?
Watching this the night before my physics exam lol i love your explanation
You’ve got this. Good luck tomorrow

your making physics so easy dude holy shit i was stuck on this for so long
Thank you man, you're such a life saver

There is no center.

if it is pure rolling at the point of contact, should the weight contribute to torque
Yes, depending on the pivot location the weight can produce torque
This helped tremendously, thank you.

If there’s no slipping the is no work done by tension. If like an object rolling on the ground except vertical.
@@PhysicsNinja oh I see, thank you!
How can you choose to define Weight as positive 3:23 but if you don’t you get it wrong?
Thank you.
how can we prove that when object rotates without slipping v equals omega times radius?
This is why I chose to go to culinary school😂
