ikr, first thing it happened to me i did not know, it almost costed me the game because i cannot place anything near that side. So I'm quite careful using that red hp foldarts because i don't know where they will put the shieldguard in other maps. I usually pair it with different colors to avoid those guards.
@@madcatneon2604having shieldguard is still better in high difficulty, in ending 1 he can taunt the boss to attack only him while other ranged ops clear the tile; the shieldguard is normally very tanky and he can survive for more than half of the battle. The only concerned thing is when the boss uses the ultimate on the shieldguard which stuns him and by that time, honestly you should be able to clear most of the tiles already Imagine your ops get one shot by the boss before unfreezing any tile
My god this iteration of IS has broken me xD I feel like a pos every time I start. I haven't even unlocked squads past the leader one yet. I feel so deflaaaated. And here you are being hot stuff as usual :P Ugh I need to push through this start but it kinda feels rotten when you have a basically complete roster and you can't manage to do good xD
IS is mostly about map knowledge and then a bit of adaptation to your roster. Having a stacked roster for normal play doesn't help that much, as you can see from all the 4-star diff 15 runs. WHile the beginning is indeed a slog, it helps with map knowledge. In my opinion, this is by far the best IS yet.
Like yeah, just a while ago I stuggled a lot at difficulty 0 😆 Now I have almost whole pass we got so far cleared with Braving nature at only 4. I don't get, how you can have this game figured out so much.
That Shieldguard placement would piss me off too tbf

There's only like 3 tiles he could be on there lol..
17:39 lol
funny enough this run is neat to try, keep it up ;)
Yeah I've quickly learned to never use Shieldguard on the ending 1 boss, unless I have a ranged unit that can burst like immediately.
