The standoff makes all the difference in the world. At least you did mention that one is available for the 52. I have a 52 and added a standoff to it. It doesn't require any other hardware be changed. It also has two feet instead of one to keep your torch perpendicular to your work. The test on 1.25" material is also out of the range of the 52. It's rated at 1.125" sever cut. Not intended to produce useable parts at that thickness. I personally never use it for anything over .25". On .375" and up, I just go to the flame. On the heavier material distortion is not so much of a problem and consumables are expensive.

The Thermal-arc one torch has many more options like true 60 amp drag cutting. Setup is everything on that machine.. This Video leaves out many of the advantage of the Thermal model, and it's torch torch design. Shielded design setups, and many more options on Nozzles office size.. The cutting on .0500 was terrible not even close to the quality a average user would get out of it. Poor video, and pretty much worthless info.. The A-140 come with a CNC port, and machine torch. The 52 does not. The 4 year warranty is all over the world, and 5 years on the other, really means nothing.

Not a fair test!! You keep stopping the cut with the Thermal Dynamics and did not use a drag guide Very Unfair! IMO the Thermal Dynamics will eat that Longevity everyway possible. Very poor video!

We tested it fairly with the items that came with the units. Not trying to make one or the other look good or bad. Its just the results we got.

If a fair test why did you keep stopping the cut with the Thermal Dynamics? It was easy to see you were trying to make it look bad..

Little secret, some of our machines share assembly lines with the comparison ones....

It doesn't matter where your machine is made. The comparison made in this video was not apples to apples. Any idiot can see that the test was not fair! Again why not answer my question of why the guy would stopped and started over and aver with the Thermal Dynamics machine? The answer is you didn't want to show that its a far better machine than Longevity.

We will make a note for the next video makers... Sorry you felt that way, but we will improve the videos!

There was a lot of variation in the height of the TD torch. You intentionally made the finish cut worse by bobbing up and down with the TD torch. Worthless video, very biased, misleading results.
