When you multiply by 1(5/5) at 1:35, shouldn't the expression end up being (5/5cos(3x)) * (5sin(5x)/5x)? How are you able to distribute the 5 the way you did.

The functions are being multiplied, so they will merge into one. So, adding it once on the bottom and once on the top is ok.
