One thing I'd like to mention about Makesy is that not all of their fragrance oils are going to be made specifically for candles, because they also help makers create body lotions soaps, ,room sprays and body sprays etc., so some of the scents that don't have a Major cold throw may be perfect for other creations besides candles.
I use "strawberry macaron & vanilla whip" in wax melts, it's a lovely sweet creamy scent, that doesn't smell gross. I use "raw cinnamon and clove" as a blender, and "marigold and cedarwood" in candles, it smells divine. I've tried at least 10 of their samplers and found that while some smelled really nice, a few of them were too faint, or way to perfumey for me. Before my purchase I was annoyed that everything is basically a blind buy because there are no reviews on the site. I appreciate your reviews, their really isn't too many reviews on this particular company, and blind buying is so risky and gets so costly!
I definitely would love to see your reviews with Little Bee Scents and Porter. I’d love to see you try Scent Memory but I don’t think you’ll be on board with their timeline for delivery. But those would be the ones I’d love your opinion on
I came here to say the same! I feel like Little Bee and Porter are unmatched when it comes to quality, and also in value. Slightly higher in price than companies like NG, CS, TFC, etc, but much less than Makesy, 16/17 and so on. Their oils are truly second to none, easily my two favorite suppliers!
Allen, I love your videos! Your extensive fragrance knowledge and passion coupled with your fragrance library makes these so fun to watch 🙂 I'm excited to hear about the heat tests. I'd love to hear your thoughts comparing the luxury fragrance companies- it seems like the issue of soft throw comes up frequently. Thanks for these great videos and being so transparent about your processes!
You have such an extensive library of scents filed away in your head! Some of the Makesy fragrances that I love but are on the lighter side I use in 3-wick candles so that the throw is multiplied by 3 and more prominent.

I'm new to your channel. I love Makesy and Stone Candle fragrance oils and custom blend a lot of them. I received the Ginger Wood and Palo Santo last week and was surprised how nice it smells. I wouldn't blend it. It's perfect by itself. I will try the Ginger and Saffron from Candle Science. Have you tried Stock Fragrance oils or Scent Memory?
Santal & Black Cardamom is extremely light in CT & HT for me was almost none existent and Dark Rose & Labdanum is one of my best sellers. Maplestreet has a growing list of Makesy dupes at a fraction of the cost.

If you're looking for stronger throwing "makesy" fragrances, Honey Bourbon, Calabrian Lemon & Lilac Leaves, Frank & Myrrh, Prosecco & Pink Raspberries, Kakadu & Plum and Strawberry Macaron & Vanilla Whip all had Good to Great HT. Salt Air & Honeydew was moderate out of the bottle but I couldn't stomach the fragrance to test it. 🤍

I found Northwood Candle Supply 3 years ago and I Love this supplier definitely in my top 5 favorites to shop For candle supplies. Wicks , wax and FO . I have tried a few scents , wicks etc. with great results. I m still trying out a lot of the scents but so far I would recommend Fall Festival Farmhouse Christmas Sleigh Ride Northwoods Campfire Memories Vanilla Beach Walk Spanish Sunset Shea and Coconut (lighter scent) Just to name a few… They also have a Palo Santo scent I have not tried yet. You may want to try. Love your channel !! 💕😀

You aren't going to find many dupes in the Makesy fragrance oil collection because they are truly unique and I haven't smelled any that smell very similar to any other brand
I just ordered a kit and was going to make 4oz sample candles with each full bottle. What percentage do you use for a nice strong candle. Maybe I should do 2 oz? I am a super newbie! Love your video!
Hi Michelle! The allowable fragrance percentage depends on your wax. Which wax do you use? Usually 10% of the wax weight for fragrance is about the max with most waxes. This means for most waxes, if you’re using 5 oz wax, the most fragrance you could safely use would usually be around 0.5 oz (10% of the wax weight).
I never heard of makesy. I need some super strong fall fragrances. A strange cricket was under my bed the other night between the hours of 2am to 7:00am. I say strange because he was higher pitched loud and relentless. I was ready for murder. Anyway sorry I was triggered

Dark Rose and Labdanum is so intrigiung to me in candles Ive made by Makesy. Highly recommend!

One of many makesy fragrance oils that I truly love is Violet resin and indica!! So unique and amazing hot throw in candles!!
