Thanks for this comment my friend, I went to a really tough time during the covid as others of course, but I got depressed and I became a drinker and I just restart to make kombucha hugs from Brazil
You have to watch that it doesnt turn into alcohol. I accidentally got drunk once when the fermentation went on a different route. too much sugar I suppose.
Wife had C-diff last year. After a seven day hospital stay we started on kombucha and adjusted our diet. We now make our own kombucha and drink it every day. We also make our yogurt. I did intermittent fasting of 20-24 hours a day on a ketogenic diet with lots of ACV. I took a gallon of water and poured about 1 cup of ACV in it, and consumed about half of that per day. So significantly more than 1 tsp of ACV per day. Blood sugars took about 4 days to come down from 350+ mg/dL, stayed around 130 mg/dL for a week (normal for when starting keto), then went down to normal. After 5 weeks I stopped keto-I LOSE TOO MUCH MUSCLE on keto. I went back to carbs and high protein (I also need a lot of protein because I'm a large guy). I felt great. The first few days off of keto, I could feel my muscles just soaking up the glucose and I had a lot more energy. I don't do well on keto, I've tried it many times. So far OMAD with carbs and high protein is what works for me. My blood sugar is still normal as well, and I don't get food comas (very high insulin) like I usually do with large carb meals. Edit: Also I had very poor kidney function when I began fasting. After fasting they returned to normal and remained normal while eating carbs. I think it might have been a combination of autophagy and ACV. Autophagy is basically an enhanced healing state that begins after 16 hours of fasting. I was getting 4-8 hours of autophagy every day, which I believe was repairing kidney damage. Also the ACV really helps to loosen and eliminate any kidney stones.
My mum drank Apple Cider Vinegar back in the 70s as it was consider good for weight loss, and yes she did lose weight. She also had insulin resistance. I only drink Kombucha when my stomach is upset, I had food suspected food poisoning but was in so much pain in the gut that I couldn't go anywhere. I did have a can of Kombucha in my fridge and I drank that slowly. It took me 15 mins to consume and within about 20 mins after drinking it, my stomach pain stopped. The feeling of me wanting to vomit stopped. This stuff made me feel well. I of course only knew this stuff was good for the gut, hadn't read about the probiotics. I feel that there is room for both in the diet. Thanks Dr Berg for your youtubes, because of you I have lost 30kgs doing the Intermittent fasting. I have also reduced my fatty liver by 2cm from drinking Apple Cider Vinegar...or maybe it has occurred because of the intermittent fasting or eating high fat low carb. Either way...who cares...I watched your videos, I learn and I put your info into practice. Please keep them coming, and thank you for caring enough to share your knowledge with us.

In Australia, Remedy's Komubucha has less than 0.1! And it tastes soooo good. Also Nexba's tepache and komubuchas also sugar free (tastes so good)! they use erithrytol and Stevia to sweeten it. Both of these brands are my favorite and best tasting imo with little or no sugar. Only one thing, Remedy's is a tiny bit higher on the carb side, but Nexba is 0carb 0sugar. So nowadays I tend to drink more Nexba probiotic drinks. But Remedy's kombucha really tastes like cider!
In raw, unfiltered ACV, there may be a small amount of probiotics still alive in the mother, but it's not going to be in an amount that's going to have an affect in your lower gut. A prebiotic is basically a sugar, starch, or fiber, and ACV has none of these since the sugar that was originally in the cider has all been eliminated by the mother bacteria.
ACV IS NOT probiotic or prebiotic, the mother will die in vinegar! This means all the bacteria you were after dies with it. You have to remember that Vinegar is ANTI-BACTERIAL.
Homemade kombucha is very good tasting. I use flavored tea to flavor it. I have been drinking it for almost 2 yrs and love the benefits. I only drink mine in the late morning or very early afternoon because of the caffeine. I drink 8oz. glass daily and I drink water kefir (homemade) in afternoon but mostly at dinner. You need to find flavors that work for you.
Christina Snowgoer, Can you please provide us the step by step of how you make your homemade kombucha and also the brand of teas, flavors and everything else you are using to start with? Thank you.
@@sweetmac17 Hi there, I bought a plain kombucha from the supermarket (GTs brand). I put it in a half gallon ball canning jar. I covered it with a coffee filter and the jar ring. I added one cup of lukewarm sugar water (1/4 cup sugar) to the kumbucha. And let it sit in my kitchen cabinet for a few weeks. Just let it sit. Don't stir. It will make a scoby. You can watch all of this on TH-cam. That's where I learn to do this. After I grown a scoby, I boiled 2 cups of water, took the heat off and added 8 black tea bags in the hot water and let it seep for 5 minutes. Take the tea bags out , than stir in 1 cup of sugar into the hot tea water. Once sugar is dissolved and some ice cubes to cool down to lukewarm. Add to the scoby in the half gallon jar. Add water to the neck of jar. Let it sit for a week to 10 days. Use a straw to taste it. When your kombucha is ready to jar up, always keep 1 to 1 1/2 cup of kombucha with the scoby. Start another batch or you can wait until you're ready. Keep in the cabinet either way. I refuse my store bought kombucha bottles. I favor my kombucha using tea bags with favor teas. I favorite is peach tea or lemon ginger tea. I soak the tea bags for 3 to 5 hours. I just take the favor tea bags out and put the cap on the kombucha. I write with a sharpie pen the date and favor on the glass bottle. When you clean the bottle , the sharpie cleans right off with a sponge and you're good to go. Watch TH-cam how others make their kombucha. You will learn a lot. I been drinking it for almost 2 years now and love it.
Something that’s not mentioned much; kombucha is a gateway for those who have a soda addiction. I was addicted to diet soda. I started chugging large bottles of kombucha and, even though that large quantity wasn’t good for me, it started to shift my body and mind. I’m slowly removing it from my diet but it def was a great bridge from fizzy sodas to cleaner beverages.
Worth mentioning that kombucha is still tea and is therefore a caffeinated beverage, which may explain the increase in heart rate (along with metabolic acidosis). I personally don't consume caffeine after 5pm to avoid sleep problems, some people may say even that is too late. Also, other less expensive alternatives to kombucha (for the benefits of lactic, gluconic acids, and probiotics) include kefir and kvass if you have a Polish, Ukrainian or Russian grocery store where you live. Negatives of kvass and kefir - kvass is made from fermented grain so not ideal for people trying to avoid gluten or carbohydrates. Kefir is a milk product and thus still contains unfermented lactose.
this is great! I was wondering about lemon water vs. ACV. I'm a smoker and use both as a sort of vessel cleanser from gack build up. I know, I know, stop smoking. I'm trying.
I mix 1/2 lemon 1 TBS ACV into 8 ounces of OJ. Drink it every day. When I start to feel sick I double it & it instantly goes away. I’ll never agree that all natural OJ is bad for you.
I can mix ACV with Kombucha somewhere in the middle of the day. It simply tastes great and is very refreshing regardless of other benefits. 0.33 of Kombucha + a table spoon of ACV and some 2-3 pieces of cheese as a mid-day snack.
IBS sufferers - Kombucha works very well for me ! Possibly because of the probiotics plus the low-pH. Before that I started with ACV. ACV didn't seem to help me as much for the IBS - but it is still good for many things. I brew my own Kombucha. It started with a thin Scoby - now I have serious amounts of it. Before that, my doctor just gave me antibiotics - which just made me worse & depressed. Depression sufferers - same as above. There is definitely a gut-brain-mood connection that modern medicine has yet to understand. Makes sense to keep our trillions of good colon bacteria happy. I am low in Vitamin B-12 & tired. B-12 pills don't help. Yet (possibly) Lactobacillus Reuteri produces Vitamin B-12. Maybe Dr Berg can explain it. I still take medicine for the "dark cloud". I take a swig a Kombucha before each meal (but not too late or it will keep me up). May take several weeks. All I know is that I feel better !
I drank too much once too and the reflux all night was UGH! NOW I make a diluted 2 gram sugar kombucha organic I buy and mix it: 1/3 Kamb, 2/3 carbonated spring water and 1tsp ACV
I brew my own..54 years old I flavor it with spiced cider..tomato juice..cranberries..pineapple juice..I drink 16oz a day! Im OMAD..DOWN 12lbs in 8 days! So carbs arent affecting me
While brewing a batch of black tea kombucha, I let some of it turn to vinegar. It tastes great, a bit like ACV but milder and a bit like apples with black tea overtones. Wondering if it can be consumed in a similar fashion as ACV, and whether it takes on different chemical characteristics from komboucha as it matures into komboucha vinegar.
I'm a home kombucha Brewer, and prefer my kombucha at the 9-10 day brew. Much more of a vinegar taste then sweet. Although I don't know how much (if any) sugars are still in it, I am confident that the sugar content is far less than store-bought kombucha. ALSO!! I want to thank you for pointing out the need for lemon in my diet. I've had kidney stones before and I'm in no hurry to go through that again! Ever! I've got a big jar of fermented lemons that I was wondering what I could use for. Now I know! 1/4 lemon as a bedtime snack! Great videos. Thank you!
I agree. The sugar is the food for the fermentation, so especially with a longer brew time, there would be less sugar left. I was eating keto at the time and had no issues with any remaining sugar.
I recently had a really cramped up stomach from whatever caused it, but by drinking kombucha tea I was able to walk around again within about 3-4 hours and within another 10 hours I was almost completely cured. One thing I noticed with all of this was that my mood was extremely lifted. So I can say without a doubt it's true what they say that if you have a good gut, you have great feelings. With ACV I noticed my teeth became terrible to the point that fillings dropped out. But this could have been because of my sugary diet well before this. So just to be sure, I now only drink it with a straw as the doctor recommends.
Learn to make it yourself with organic tea, organic sugar & well filtered water!!!! You can then let it ferment longer (for less sugar) & flavor it however you like! It takes a little time but it’s soooo worth it & so inexpensive! With filtered water & organic ingredients you have nothing to worry about 👍🏼
If the water used is high in flouride, your kombucha will be high in flouride. But then, so will your ACV drink and your herbal tea. If it is in the water, it is in the drink... Make it yourself with good water and you can enjoy kombucha again!
Maybe the non-organic store bought ones because of the water, or tea... But then again practically anything you buy soft drinks etc has flouride in it...learn to make your own kombucha with whatever tea you want in it! :) i personnaly do both ACV and kombucha!
It's not going to have anymore fluoride than in the water it was made with... and that's regulated to be between a certain amount of ppm. Water fluoridation also LOWERS fluoride in water where there is too much.
TiffanyAlesha - Beauty, Fashion, Fitness Use distilled water so there is no fluoride in the water, and organic tea. Then it will definitely not be high in fluoride, and probably have less than 99% of anything else out there.
I drink apple cider vinegar and the benefits are just amazing, I have lose fat, I have better, clearer skin, and it's just tastes delicious how I make it. I put 2 small spoons of ACV, with water, stevia, cinammon and powdered ginger, and sometimes I add some chia seeds, It just taste delicious and is super healthy. Give it a try!
My husband & I drink a whole bottle of homemade kombucha all the time (at dinner time, around 6:30-7:00pm). We go to bed about 11:00pm. Neither of us have ever had a problem with it affecting our heart rates. And my husband has had an episode of A fib in the past (before I ever started making kombucha). Kombucha is a great drink to replace soda. My hubby used to drink a lot of coca cola. That probably had about 33-50gms of sugar (high fructose corn syrup) per can so I am not too concerned about 2-6gms of ORGANIC sugar in kombucha. I think that's a pretty good trade off.
In Canada we have 1g kombucha. My fave stock person at whole foods knows I’m keto so she pointed out this low carb version to me , so I do buy it for variety. Walmart has it too now and often puts on sale. Btw I love and appreciate Dr Berg for his unbelievably awesome contribution and service. I took his on line course to educate myself further but I also listen daily to his fantastic videos ! 💥🤩❤️🙏
Tracey, it depends on the temperature in my house, but it is always much longer than 1 week. I use a straw (regular drinking straw) and test the taste after 2-3 weeks for any sweetness at all. When it tastes very tart and slightly fizzy, I put it in jars with a couple of pieces of crystallized ginger and tighten the lids very tight. If I don't want it flavoured with ginger, I use a bit of frozen fruit. OR I just put it in jars with no flavouring at all for plain. That sits in my dark cupboard for another 3-4 weeks. It comes out very fizzy and mouthwateringly tart (but I like that) That's my Summer fermentation. Winter takes much longer (cold house). After I put the batch in jars, I start a new batch of course, with some of the kombucha I just made, and more sweet tea. You know this, of course, I am just saying for other viewers. I don't need to store my SCOBIES because they are always in use for long periods. So... MUCH longer fermentation than your batches have. But if you like it that way, then your way is best for you. I'm sure there are instruments that will measure sugar in alcohol making that would work for you. I don't know what they are called right off. If I find out, I'll come back to say.
Oh yes, certainly. I have a primary and a secondary fermentation going on simultaneously. I make a gallon of sweet tea, wash my hands, take the SCOBY out of the brewing vessel, and set it on a largish saucer (VERY clean of course) Then I start pouring the ready batch into their jars. I want to start bottling, but don't yet have a capper and caps, so I just use small jars that I know will seal well. You want them smallish because once you open the jar, the carbonation won't last for a very long time, so I don't use quart sized jars. When I have filled jars and kept back about a quart of just made Kombucha, I wash the fermentation vessel, pour in the reserved kombucha as a starter tea, and then pour in the by-now-cooled sweet tea, Wash my hands and place my SCOBY on top, smooth shiny side up. Secure the cloth, wash my hands again, and take it to the spot where I ferment. Then I put the small jars in the cupboard for their second fermentation. And reward all my backbreaking labour by opening up a small jar from the PREVIOUS batch (not the batch I just put to bed) So every 2-3 months all this takes place in a single 2 hour process. Often I make the tea overnight while I sleep, so it is room temperature when I'm ready to do my switcheroo magic. If you like it sweeter then of course you would be doing this more often, and possibly making smaller batches so you don't get overwhelmed? That all depends on how much you and your family drink. Or you could store your SCOBY in some starter tea in between batches. That is called a SCOBY hotel and there are videos on youtube to explain. I do have one stored in case of a mold invasion. And you can skip the secondary fermentation altogether once you really like your kombucha taste in the primary fermentation. Really, the only requirement is cleanliness. I hope this helps anyone who might be interested.
keepdancingmaria thank you for the info that helps a lot. I love mine but always worry its knocking me out of keto coz of the sugar. Good advice, much appreciated. :)
Doc. Kumbucha is black tea aka caffeine. Not all caffeine is not created equal. I cannot drink black tea, green tea or chocolate late in the evening. However if I can’t sleep I can drink a half a cup of coffee and go straight to sleep. It puts me to sleep.
What makes ACV better than other vinegars? Is it because it is made from apples? Are other vinegars beneficial as ACV? I'm really curious about this. Thanks!
I been making my own (caffeine free) kombucha teas for years! you do not have to use caffeine teas! mine turn out great! And yes the caffeine is making your heart race! do caffeine-free! kombucha! over 20 years ago I seen people and company using caffeine-free teas so I tried it! it works great! I pick my favorite teas and I go from there! I have autoimmune disease and I will get sick from caffeine! my heart will fill like its going to jump out of my chest!
Kombucha i drink is made with both black and green tea, kiwi, chlorella, spiralina and the kombucha culture. I love it where as ACV upsets my stomach big time, even to vomiting. I only take a couple Swigs so a bottle lasts me several days. Now it does have a fair amount of sugar and it is costly so I only take a couple swallows a day. But, YES!! I could easily down the entire bottle in one sitting! But can't afford to.
There are many videos on making your own avc, as well as kombucha. I make both of mine. This way I know what is in it. Need a SCOBY? There are videos for that on youtube as well. We use three to four bottle of avc a month. So definetly cheapers to make, (takes about 2 -3 months to make, depending on temp in your house. But they are pretty setting up. If you ferment your kombucha til it tangs your tongue, it will have the lowest sugar. Watch because this is only hours away from vinagar. Wish you luck. My husband had UC and an appendicitius, this is now his appendix. From mouth to toliet, best health ever. Plus I enjoy making them all. My hubby and his friend make mead, I make the healthy stuff.
I make dry kombucha, 60 day fermentation. After 2 month, the green tea is oxidized and the flavor becomes like riped pu erh tea. I close the lid and age for 1 more month. Do you think I can get both the advantages?
I want to gain weight. Can I use ACV? I lose weight when I’m stressed. I’m not sure why some people gain and some people lose weight when stressed. I also have muscle spasms and that’s why I want to try ACV…
So what's your point? A regular booch litre contains 1g of sugar, the 2g is just a bit underfermented booch. A spare few grams of sugar isn't going to kill you, not like you will consume it in large quantities daily for that to make a difference.
+Dr Berg I have some commerical Kombucha of Ginger & Tumeric, 500 gr and I have Ginger & Tumeric Green Tea Kumbucha, if I mix the two equally will that reduce the sugar intake, I think yes, but checking. Also how much to drink a day. I have been drinking 500 grams a day mixed with fresh lemon juiice and watered down into 1 litre bottle. Am also blending [juicer died] carrots, cucumber, celeray, cauli, broccoli raw ] and adding to juice. Tastes good to me, and I dont hav to cook. Lazy HUH??? TU I also have ACV so how much a day. I could take in morning? I should take in morning, paid a lot of money to buy USA Braggs ACV so I should drink it. Thanks for you input I will look at the detogenic eating, but I HATE COOKING- am lazy and prefer raw everything apart from meat, Thanks again
I have low acid and horrible acid reflux. I’ve been told and learning the kambucha is great for low acid but based on this video it sounds like it will make my acid reflux worse ?!?! Please advise
I had been making kumbucha for myself years ago. Now I am drinking ACV with lemon and honey for 2 years now Can I also drink Kumbucha while I have my ACV in the morning? I'm making Kumbucha with green tea
I made my own kombucha but stopped quite a while before doing keto because of the residual sugar content which bothered me anyway. On keto and have zero sugar.
You can honestly drink them both at once...and you can drink kombucha as often as you want, but keep in mind kombuchas all are different in how fermented they are... So you may need to start slow so your gut can get used to it.
DR. BERG: Can u help us figure out how much sugar to use to make home made water kefir or kombucha? For water kefir it says to use 1 tablespoon of sugar for every 8oz of water. For kombucha it says to add 1 cup of sugar per gallon of tea. How do we calculate the carb grams? All store kombucha is at least 5- 8 gms carb per 8oz serving. Thank you!
I mad kombucha a few months ago and it fermented too much and couldn't use it. Can I use this in place of ACV? Is it the same or should I just use ACV? I don't want to throw it out, I have 2 gallons and want to put it to use. It's ph is the same as vinager.
@@Drberg I did! Thanks again. It was super interesting. If you make kombucha at home you can let the fermentation run sufficiently to bring down sugar as low as possible, within reason without letting it turn to pure vinegar and losing most if not all the probiotic benefits. I think this is a major issue with store bought kombucha. It continues to sit in the fridge where it will continue to ferment the longer it sits. While this may further bring down sugar levels possibly to zero by the time you consume it, you may be getting little or no probiotic benefits as you may end up consuming more of a vinegary than a probiotic drink, regardless of what the label claims you are consuming. And if it has been pasturized with a probiotic strain after that may not make it the best choice if your reason for consuming kombucha is to get the most probiotic bang for your buck. Just my two cents
If you're new to ACV, I strongly recommend buying the Bragg's brand. It needs to be unfiltered, unpasteurized.
expensive
It's not as good as it used to be apparently because of the takeover

ACV IS NOT probiotic or prebiotic, the mother will die in vinegar!
This means all the bacteria you were after dies with it. You have to remember that Vinegar is ANTI-BACTERIAL.
Xavier hi - not sure about the mother dyeing in vinegar- the vinegar mother makes the apple juice into unpasteurised vinega .. ...
What about kefir water?
Isn’t kvass made from beets?
I made it for quite awhile using green decaf tea, worked just as good as far as I could tell.
Please make a video on water kefir and coconut vinegar.
this is great! I was wondering about lemon water vs. ACV. I'm a smoker and use both as a sort of vessel cleanser from gack build up. I know, I know, stop smoking. I'm trying.
Both are good, don't need to choose just one but Dr.Berg did a video on that if you missed it.
I mix 1/2 lemon 1 TBS ACV into 8 ounces of OJ. Drink it every day. When I start to feel sick I double it & it instantly goes away. I’ll never agree that all natural OJ is bad for you.
Hello, did you quit smoking? Hope all is well 🙏
I can mix ACV with Kombucha somewhere in the middle of the day.

Antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria. Always, try pro and pre biotics first. The prebiotics are the food that probiotics feed on.

I drank too much once too and the reflux all night was UGH! NOW I make a diluted 2 gram sugar kombucha organic I buy and mix it: 1/3 Kamb, 2/3 carbonated spring water and 1tsp ACV
I make my own kombucha tea so I can let it ferment longer to get rid of more sugar. I put about 4oz in a glass and add zevia soda. It is sooo good.
Kombucha has helped me with so many stomach problems I am about to home brew but worrying about sugar content.
I brew my own..54 years old I flavor it with spiced cider..tomato juice..cranberries..pineapple juice..I drink 16oz a day! Im OMAD..DOWN 12lbs in 8 days! So carbs arent affecting me
Dr Berg is the best!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
@Drberg when is the best time to consume Kombucha for optimal results?
I much prefer kombucha to ACV. A little of both and not too much of either will probably do some good. ThanQ for sharing.
Sounds good!
Thank you!
Can you teach me how
I agree. The sugar is the food for the fermentation, so especially with a longer brew time, there would be less sugar left. I was eating keto at the time and had no issues with any remaining sugar.
My wife brews 4 gallons at a time. He favorite is Lemon and Ginger. Gingerade. Hardest part is keeping it to 1 a day and waiting a week.
So just to be sure, I now only drink it with a straw as the doctor recommends.
i love kombucha tea but recently heard it's high in flouride.. so i'm going to stick to acv and herbal tea instead
Give it a try!
how could acv improves your skin, i am curious
hy p It just does. Drink it every day and your skin becomes very clear and bright.
I just add salt then drink/sip it straight.
By regulating the skin's ph levels, by lowering the blood sugar (avoiding spikes of glucose) and in some other ways. I may make a video on that.
Wow, didn't know there was powdered ginger
I use a very low sugar Kombucha, and put 2 tbs ACV in it.
Thanks. I was considering kombucha. I might still try it but id rather use ACV
Great to know - Just started a home made Kombucha yesterday
I traded sugar heavy soda pop for a little less sweet homemade kombucha. I pour it over ice just like any other cold drink.
I drink both. I make my own Kombucha, and sometimes it gets really vinegary! Not a lot of sugar left after my long fermentation times!
How long do you ferment you Kombucha? I let mine ferment for one week but also wish I could know how much sugar is left at this stage?
Tracey, it depends on the temperature in my house, but it is always much longer than 1 week. I use a straw (regular drinking straw) and test the taste after 2-3 weeks for any sweetness at all. When it tastes very tart and slightly fizzy, I put it in jars with a couple of pieces of crystallized ginger and tighten the lids very tight. If I don't want it flavoured with ginger, I use a bit of frozen fruit. OR I just put it in jars with no flavouring at all for plain. That sits in my dark cupboard for another 3-4 weeks. It comes out very fizzy and mouthwateringly tart (but I like that)
That's my Summer fermentation.
If I find out, I'll come back to say.
keepdancingmaria wow that's way much longer than mine. When you do your second ferment is it without the Scoby?
Oh yes, certainly. I have a primary and a secondary fermentation going on simultaneously.
I make a gallon of sweet tea, wash my hands, take the SCOBY out of the brewing vessel, and set it on a largish saucer (VERY clean of course)
Then I start pouring the ready batch into their jars. I want to start bottling, but don't yet have a capper and caps, so I just use small jars that I know will seal well. You want them smallish because once you open the jar, the carbonation won't last for a very long time, so I don't use quart sized jars.
When I have filled jars and kept back about a quart of just made Kombucha, I wash the fermentation vessel, pour in the reserved kombucha as a starter tea, and then pour in the by-now-cooled sweet tea,
Wash my hands and place my SCOBY on top, smooth shiny side up. Secure the cloth, wash my hands again, and take it to the spot where I ferment.
Then I put the small jars in the cupboard for their second fermentation. And reward all my backbreaking labour by opening up a small jar from the PREVIOUS batch (not the batch I just put to bed)
So every 2-3 months all this takes place in a single 2 hour process.
I drink ACV with sparkling water taste same like Kombucha without sugar and caffeine
I mix kombucha 1:3 or 1:4 with seltzer water. After seeing this video, I think I will start adding a tablespoon of ACV.
Thank you Dr Berg. I had to check with you for more clarity.
Doc. Kumbucha is black tea aka caffeine. Not all caffeine is not created equal. I cannot drink black tea, green tea or chocolate late in the evening. However if I can’t sleep I can drink a half a cup of coffee and go straight to sleep. It puts me to sleep.
Very well appreciated Doc! Thank You!!
Dr Berg is always one of a kind ♥️
What makes ACV better than other vinegars? Is it because it is made from apples? Are other vinegars beneficial as ACV? I'm really curious about this. Thanks!
First time kombucha brewer/drinker. I just consumed a hole bottle of kombucha and feel so great all of the sudden. I thought it was a coincidence.
I've heard people say Kombucha could be toxic? I love the stuff. never had any problems.
Hi dr berg, thanks for the vast amount of free high quality videos! Any advice on how to take acv it his much and with water of food?
What about kombucha tea bags steeped in hot water. Is that better?
Hi Dr. Berg, could you do a video on SIBO? It would be helpful to have more information on this difficult condition. Thank you
So we should take both
Awesome info, thanks once again my friend. I personally like ACV more
Great vid Doc! Again, thanks for being you!!
Love your advice
Kombucha i drink is made with both black and green tea, kiwi, chlorella, spiralina and the kombucha culture. I love it where as ACV upsets my stomach big time, even to vomiting. I only take a couple Swigs so a bottle lasts me several days. Now it does have a fair amount of sugar and it is costly so I only take a couple swallows a day. But, YES!! I could easily down the entire bottle in one sitting! But can't afford to.
Exactly my question. Thanks for the answer
Great comparision video! 👍🏼

Excellent video thank you
There are many videos on making your own avc, as well as kombucha.
What if you let kombucha turn to vinegar is this beneficial?
Dr.Berg please make english subtitles for your videos for non native english speaker
We really need to benefit from you
The way round concern about too much sugar in kombucha is make your own with half the sugar as in recipie
I make dry kombucha, 60 day fermentation. After 2 month, the green tea is oxidized and the flavor becomes like riped pu erh tea. I close the lid and age for 1 more month. Do you think I can get both the advantages?
Hi Dr Berg,
Please do a segment on rejuvelac.
Love your you tube info segments.
Hey guys Remedy is a great sugar free option and it’s sweetened with Stevia Extract and lemon juice.
This isn’t a sponsor. I just love it.
Try making Kombucha using Jasmine Tea rather then 'Black Tea'! You will be astounded!!
I want to gain weight. Can I use ACV? I lose weight when I’m stressed. I’m not sure why some people gain and some people lose weight when stressed. I also have muscle spasms and that’s why I want to try ACV…
Dr.Berg..please do a video on Kombucha vinegar
Really appreciate your videos!
Some kombuchas ferment all the sugar out. I had one and it had zero carbs and sugars.
Best time to take acv ?
You forgot to mention that it has a very high content of Caffeine from the Black Tea that is used to brew the Kombucha.
Hey Doctor, my mother have crohn disease, but she loves kombucha.
It's bad or good for her condition, and why ??
Lol if it's over 2 grams I wouldn't consume it. Most soda has like 50 grams of sugar.
So what's your point? A regular booch litre contains 1g of sugar, the 2g is just a bit underfermented booch.
A spare few grams of sugar isn't going to kill you, not like you will consume it in large quantities daily for that to make a difference.
Sounds like both have different benefits.
Lazy HUH??? TU
I also have ACV so how much a day. I could take in morning? I should take in morning, paid a lot of money to buy USA Braggs ACV so I should drink it.
Thanks for you input
I will look at the detogenic eating, but I HATE COOKING- am lazy and prefer raw everything apart from meat,

Is raw kefir better?
What about foods that have vinegar, like pickles, etc. Is that good, too?
Can you incorporate both in the same day... Acv mornings and afternoons and then Kombucha tea evenings?
Tarquia Lambe I would love to know this too
You can honestly drink them both at once...and you can drink kombucha as often as you want, but keep in mind kombuchas all are different in how fermented they are... So you may need to start slow so your gut can get used to it.
Thanks :)
Can you use both or alternate?
Thank you!
maybe just ferment it long enough so there's barely sugar inside
Yes, I do 3 weeks
Is ACV kambucha tea safe with me having high blood pressure, Dystonia and AFIB ???
I mad kombucha a few months ago and it fermented too much and couldn't use it. Can I use this in place of ACV? Is it the same or should I just use ACV? I don't want to throw it out, I have 2 gallons and want to put it to use. It's ph is the same as vinager.
Great video!
Glad you liked it!
