Some songs come from the 80’s-90’s they are comparable to hymns in America. They have unknown authors and started being sang among early non-catholic churches as vocal-only songs because in the beginning they had no instruments besides hands and tam-tams. With years various artists started re-singing those songs called chanson populaires (popular songs) by adding their own touches to make them sound a lil different
