Grant was wise beyond his years.. He was correct in a 1970's commercial the wise owl proved it only took three licks to reach the center of a tootsie roll pop.
He did in a awful interview, he said he was bored to death of hearing himself on the show already. But I agree with you would be great, although the jokes he make would be considered racist and inapropriate nowadays sadly (with the country impersonations, making fun of gays and lesbians or talking about politics).
Couldn't really be blamed for running away from the M.A.S.H. theme song... it's called Suicide is Painless. A very serious and touching song juxtaposed on a generally funny and lighthearted show.
