शार्ट कहानी सून ऐसा लगता है कि चेतन भगत सर पुराने फिल्म और सिरियल्स से प्लाॅट उठा रहे हैं।
१) लड़की गुम होने का सस्पेंस- बागी १ फिल्म से, वहां छोटी बच्ची यहां बड़ी
२) लव्ह स्टोरी और बहू से नफ़रत कयी सिरीयल में दिखाया गया है।
३) लड़की को छुपाने की जगह और पुजारी का प्लाट चेंज कर लिखा है,
एक इंग्लिश फिल्म है जिसमें सौतेला बाप लड़की के मनमानी पर घर के है तहखाने में कैद कर भाग गयी का बहाना बनाकर उसपर अत्याचार करता है कि उसे चार बच्चे पैदा होते हैं और उन चारों को भी कैद में ही रखता है।
