    "Ran when wrecked."
I wouldn't mind being Jonathan's neighbor, as it's never boring over there. That engine looks right at home in the vintage truck. I hope they can make the '58s gauges work with the modern sensors; that would be really cool.

Scott, you guys amaze me with the work that you do using the bare necessities and in the dirt on gravel lots. From building custom semis in the back yard to LS swapping an old truck in the driveway. You all would be dangerous with a concrete floor and an overhead hoist there would be no stopping you.

And since when has that ever slowed Jonathan down any?

It's what men do, guys I'm around do similar shit. It amazes me too until I'm laying in grave that's got a sheet of ice on it handing sockets to dad lmao. Still, the machine is what captivates me

I was going to ask how you have to deal with the computer......but then you explained it. It sounds straight forward the way you made it look.
    tHanks for the video

GM really screwed up with that engine design. There's about 3 inches of unused space under the throttle-body that they didn't stuff in a few sensors, wires and hoses. What a waste. You guys managed to get that set in there pretty nicely. Can hardly wait for the next videos to see it start up.

I think Jonathan should have left the stovebolt in it, but I am old and I dont like engines that are smarter then I am.

Jonathan will get about $.10 a pound for that plastic tin aluminum cab in scrap. Fine looking 58. Make it a runner. ( steering in the back tires cause steering rod is in the way Jonathan ) lol shame on you.
    Thx Delray.

Why don't you just set the cab on the new style chassis I did it to my 52 gmc 1-ton and it worked perfect then you can scrap the ruff riding old school chassis
