We need to talk. Our world is sick and dying.
Front page news, a celebrity affair. But nobody is talking about all the bombs in the air. Entire towns destroyed overseas. We don't really care - it won't happen to you or me.
Another school shooting, another tragedy. We acknowledge it, but only from our TV.
Everybody says that everybody cares. We've proven it with our likes and our shares. My profile pic has a relevant frame.
Maybe now they'll remember my name.
All of our lives. Desensitized. A thick veil has been pulled over our eyes.
We need to talk. Our world is sick and dying.
