In this example you stated how it podio would update the customer in quickbooks....which leads me to wonder fI could create the invoice in podio. like we currently do, and when pushing to the invoice quickbooks could it find the contractor to pay....making accounting department job easier? Thoughts....
So sorry for the delay on this! Thanks Danielle for the question! Absolutely. I would suggest having QBO generate an invoice # automatically, and feeding that # to be the invoice # in Podio as well. That will make things easier in the future...as far as linking the two up. It’s been awhile since you asked this...have you been able to give it a try?

Is there a way to update an item in Quickbooks from Podio through Zapier? For instance, I would like to be able to update the Class in Quickbooks after our office manager updates the address in Podio for each expense.
Yes! The most difficult part about this is the "search" action in QBO. You will need some sort of unique/ matching ID between Podio and QBO so that we know what expense to look for and update in QBO. But yes, we have the ability to "Update an Expenses" in QBO using Zapier.
