That are a lot of lighthouses, next challenge is to visit all of them. Lighthouses look always really cute but do you not think after visiting 8 of them they start to look the same? Red and white candy lighthouse is the nice traditional fairy tale style of lighthouse. Snakes are more scared of you than you should be of them. As long as you make enough noise to scare them away. The acropolis style is unique, but to say the most unique in the world...
We hope to return to Maine one day and visit the rest of its lighthouses! Nah, we enjoyed looking for the differences in and taking in the surroundings of each one... Wayne knows that about snakes, but always forgets when he sees one, hahaha. I guess there is no other lighthouse in the world with that style...?
Those are some beautiful lighthouses in some stunning areas, thanks for the tour. Wayne, you are braver than me I would have hightailed it back to the car if it was me and the snake. My favourite was the one inspired by Greece. April well done on navigating those rocks.

Funny to watch this knowing you are in Guatemala. Or at least- you were! 😂😂😂 I thought you had another lighthouse video upHmmm? Must look back at the videos. Well this was an exciting episode anyway. Squirrel 🐿 snakes 🪱 . We have a few lighthouses around. Might have to do a 'show and tell' subject lighthouses in NL one of these days then. It's funny they are all shapes, sizes and colors. My most significant lighthouse experience was in Sagres Portugal. Almost got blown off the cliff's edge there. Enjoyed this video thanks guys. 🇳🇿🙋♀🇳🇱
We are always 6 months or so behind with our editing... 😇 We did feature a few lighthouses in our Outer Banks North Carolina video... Lighthouse hunting is so much fun! You guys sure love your lighthouses! Loving all the cinematic shots of them all. It looks pretty cold in Maine! That's a cool abandoned lighthouse in the sea. That lighthouse at 3:19 really does look like a candy cane! Cute how it's unique. Oh, wow there is a snake! At first I thought April was pointing to a twig, haha! That's awesome. I've never seen a wild snake before. The 6:43 lighthouse is adorable. I think that one is my favourite! I love how tiny it is and also its location.
It gets very cold in Maine...it was the humidity that chilled us to the bone while there last October...we are not used to it anymore living in Utah! That lighthouse you like best also has a neat history, as far as "old" goes here in America, LOL... Thanks for watching!
I had no idea Maine had so many lighthouses! I love lighthouses - they are so pretty, and usually surrounded by beautiful scenery. I think my favourite was the red and white striped one... but I am Canadian so maybe I'm biased. I don't think I could have done the rock scramble... I'd have to crawl like April haha. My husband probably wouldn't want to do that either, but the ones that had easier walks/hikes to get to he'd be up for. Any good breweries near any of these!? 😂 #priorities
Ah Maine! The state of Lighthouses among other things. I usually visit a different Lighthouses every summer I'm up there. Quoddy is awesome. Bummer the border was closed. I've been to Campobello. It's worth the drive over. I'm not aware of poisonous snakes in Maine. I've been to Quoddy, Doubling Point, and Portland. I'll have to check out the others.
