- SUP Y'ALL?! Finally getting into checking out Dreamcatcher's dance practices to get a more precise look into their choreography. The fact that they started out THIS clean, THIS strong, and THIS coordinated as a team at their young age is already promising that they would DELIVER as time goes. And boooy did time do it's thing or what. They're have such great chemistry as a team together! That's REALLY important y'all. I've been in certain groups or teams where, as good as each dancer was, the lack of chemistry effected the overall outcome of what we could've produced. Dreamcatcher is a CATCH of a dream team indeed!

PPS. some quick 411 about me:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since.
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

they are not wrong, the song is so fast with so many little steps to do! but they killin it

Even now, nearly _four_ years and probably dozens of choreos later, the girls still rate Chase Me as their hardest...
I will never get tired of saying they are one of the best dancing group in Kpop, probably top 3. The way they dance is so clean and sharp with lots of details. They have a lot of iconic movements that people struggle to even cover even years after. Truly one impressive set of dancers.
Dreamcatcher always have "Domino effect" or "Master puppet" in their choreo.. so good.
That is why their agency does not starve them, does not force them to go on diets. Always in their vlives we can see them eating what they want. Because their choreographies are so powerful that they need that energy and that obviously by following absurd diets they are not going to get. Also, if you can you should watch the choreographies that Sua has created; Copycat, Taki Taki, Havana. Thanks for react to Dreamcatcher ♥

This is simply not true. Gahyeon was forced to go on a diet and you can see that when you compare her to how she looked when she first joined the group.

You shouldn't be so naive to believe that. Companies can on purpose tell them to do that on live chats to give people the impression that they can eat what they want when it's not true.

@@DaRunningMan Actually Gahyeon was the one that chose to go on a diet because she didn't feel comfortable with the weight that she had and the members were okay with that as long as she watched her health. Their company doesn't care that much about the diet and let the girls eat whatever they want.

And you know this because? Reasons.
Have you ever tried to lose a good quantity of weight? I did and it freaking hard. It takes dedication, motivation and the right conditions in your life. Back when she was a trainee, she was still at school, she probably didn't have two seconds to herself. Now she has more time and more control over her life, and she is more mature and dedicated. So it makes perfect sense that she did this last year as opposed to when she was 17 or 18.
I'll stick to what she actually said numerous times in various vlogs and vlives instead of your conspiracy ideas and opinions. Do you even understand how toxic the atmosphere would be if the company was behind them for every word they speak and action they take? Say this, eat that, do this... If it were the case, these girls deserve several oscars because they ALWAYS seems to be genuine and happy. It's not because a few companies are nasty that they are all like that. And if it were the case, they wouldn't allow them to make so many vlogs and vlive videos for us, too much managing. Many of those are free, no manager on location.
Did it occur to you that the simplest explanation was the likeliest? The girls are being truthful and the company does not bother them with their weight beyond the minimum that is expected. We can tell because they sometimes ask the off-screen manager if it's OK to say this or that, but it's never about food or diet. Also, there are countless videos of them eating in restaurants or ordering food at the hotel. Their company would have to be extremely sinister if it was all setup to mislead the fans. It's sad that you are so willing to believe that all management in Kpop is nasty and that our girls are being basically badly treated just because, potatoes. When you have actual facts, we'll listen, until then, I suggest you listen carefully to the lyrics of BOCA and try to understand what they mean.
lol yeah we don't sleep. Chase Me is still one of their hardest/most cardio intensive songs - especially because they were singing at the same time. Serious breath control and stamina. Literally all of their choreos have great applications of texture and level plays, and they usually have at least one to three canons along with a tableau somewhere in it. Piri has one of their best tableaus though. My favorite bits of their choreos are when Gahyeon is playing peekaboo in a move - where the members part and there she is.
As an OG KPop and Dreamcatcher Stan, we would recommend the "Abracadabra" cover that was released some weeks ago. 😎

Also, for "Chase Me", I was blowned away by their performances on Music Shows: this fast and charismatic crazy choreo while having stable and great vocals were 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
yes, their dance practices are very impressive. I really think that dreamcatcher has the most difficult choreographies of girl groups. they are all fast and coordinated with a lot of energy

I'm glad someone appreciate it all the amazing that is Dreamcatcher.
They are still quite underappreciated in every freaking aspect, choreography, vocally and musically. All of them are triple threat, they have everything to be at the top, but the attention of locals/koreans. Only if them would notice Dreamcatcher more and how talented they are, they sure would be at the top.
Well I'm just happy this year they have been getting the attention they deserve, slowly, step by step but they're getting there.

Yesss, I love how even in their choreography they implement their whole horror/dark theme. They have a lot of moments where members guides or "controls" the rest of them and I feel like it really fits the concept.
I think it's typical for a group's choreo to get better as the years go on, and even when starting their first year with such strong choreos (seriously Chase Me and Good Night are still some of my all time favorite choreos from them) they still bring in more with each comeback. Super excited to see your reactions to more of their dance practices! I'm sure you know this already but why not warn you again, you are going to be in for one hell of a ride.

They are one of the tightest girl groups you'll find. Great dancers across the board.

There are two group with this nice shynchronized choreo and dance with a nice live vocals that is Infinite and Dreamcatcher, and both group is my only boy and girl group.
Dreamcatcher is Perfect
They have dance practices from before their debut. They are titled dance practices 1 and 2. They have dance practices 3 and 4 but those were after their debut. All of them are really good.
As always, I love their transitions and the hair pull move is my favorite in this song... I just thought it was so creative!
Btw, they have other dance practice too. Dreamcatcher Dance Practice 01, 02, 03 and 04. Its more like a dance cover but its up to you if you want to add them to your list. I love all your reactions btw.

Still throws me sometimes going from watching dance videos and seeing Yoohyeon being such a graceful & powerful dancer, and then watching backstage clips and lives and seeing how ridiculously clumsy she is when she's not dancing.
I like how they use slight offsets in their choreo. You should watch the "dance video" of chase me, it's like an MV combined with a dance practice.
