Yea he forgot about appearing in the final season one of the last major sitcoms in American history. In a scene where he’s gas lighting one of the biggest stars on television at the time into thinking his co-worker has always been Asian.
He is right though, the popularity of the office declined after Michael left, it wasn’t a massive phenomenon anymore by the last season. When the show went on Netflix years later that was when it found a whole new audience and became a cultural touchstone again. This story totally checks out for me.

Sure but I literally can’t imagine taking that role and forgetting I did it. Even if i had been cast in Fresh off the boat the forgettable show park starred in as a white guy gas lighting some asian dude into thinking i was Randall park’s character id never forget that.

The "Asian Jim" segment is actually one of the best known here in Norway because the channel that shows "The Office" here uses it over and over as one of its promos.
I really like this, it feels like a podcast. No laughing every seconds and all that.
The question is, does Conan remember that he was also in an episode of The Office?
He was in it twice if you count the Emmy intro sketch.
