  • For those who want a more detailed explanation on the pachi pachi: as explained in the video pachi pachi is just "clap clap" and it's used to represent the 8th anniversary of Aqours because 8 in Japan is "hachi". "Ha(は)" can turn into "pa(ぱ)" with a little circle in the top right corner. 8's kanji looks like "八" which looks like Mt. Fuji which is why they're doing the Mt. Fuji project thing for their 8th anniversary.
These are inaccurate subs, please feel free to correct me if I made a mistake (*_ _)人

I just wanted to say thank you for subbing and posting these things. It is a good and fun way to support Japanese learners who do not have too much exposure to native content. I would not have understood the 八 パチ 富士山 train of thought without your hint! ありがとうございます!!

1:24 you missed here Aikyan saying "nante omoe masuyo" (I don't know japanese so I don't know how to write that xd)

She actually said "dana tte omoi masuyo" which goes with what she was saying before "Souiu yappari catchy na bubun wo ippai motteru onnadana tte omoi masuyo" which pretty much is on point with what I have translated
The "tte omoi masuyo" just translates to "I think" in English we put "I think" at the front of the sentence but in Japanese it's the opposite
I know she took a pause between there but it's all one sentence so I didn't miss it :)
