I like the Saas breakdown, its like reverse engineering a company success through research. I actually wanted to start a similar TH-cam channel lol. But more so for companies operating in the grey area. I just opt in for the book.
I think that another way to monetize a SAAS like this is with an affiliate program, either with Amazon or a company that sells parts, spare parts and accessories for cars. Thus, with the option to view the accessories, they can also be purchased, and thus earn a % for each referred sale.
I dont think this is easy to make whatsoever. The app itself is not terribly hard, but there is sooooo much to design, align, size up, multiple layers, etc. Finding the entire list of wheel well widths and depths and then tire sizes to accurately display everything would be such a pain, then designing them accurately to size... A $100k salary wouldn't even justify all the work it would take a single developer/graphic artist to do this properly.
I agree, I think the hardest part would be to position every wheel PNG correctly and not having to do it manually for each car with their different gaps and spacing. 3D would probably be easier in this aspect since you wouldn't have to worry about the angles, just finding the models and pasting new wheels on top, which would still be a lot of work
I think you could try two things: - open the page in desktop mode - or type it somewhere else then copy it and paste it in the email inputbar and submit
I find it interesting how quickly you guessed a price for this type of SaaS. I’ve been struggling to price my automotive app. Can you give it a test drive and give me your thoughts?
Might be a database of car images you can buy. A slight pivot eg to different car accessory eg have zero competition but a high price point. To cheat could pre-render all combinations (some accessories) in 3D so not on the fly which would be possible and store on S3. If interested let me know.
I think the one point he failed. The mention is you gonna have to host all these images and databases up on the cloud and that’s gonna be a sizable expense, especially if things are being download it all the time.
I don't think this is a great business. Very limited market and very expensive to build/maintain. Maybe a spinoff of a company who needed it themselves and decided to sell to competitors to share costs?

Guys, I model cars in my free time and, trust me the hardest part will be to get the 3d model of the car without getting suied by the manufacturer.
we now have AIGC lol

I might be interested in having a look... work with some dealerships.
Great video and analysis, more of this thanks!
Any plans to change your shirt?
Not likely
@millionaire-millennial haha!
Something works for me, I stick with it.
Keep um coming!
How do you find iconfigurator competitors? Which one is the best you've found?
I actually built this but with augmented reality. Did it more as a concept though, not sure how I would sell companies on it though.

The content🔥🔥🔥
The fact that you managed to use Chrome Dev tools to see how the site works it's scary.
Why's that scary?
@@millionaire-millennial potential for exploits
It's client side, so not really. No worries
@@millionaire-millennial okay I get it

no, not really. hosting is dirt cheap nowadays. $0.08 per GB on AWS same for serving to most of the world
You could probably even use a css filter to change the color of the paint
looks like im watching a hacking tutorial. love this
Enjoying them 😜
The only thing that I could say about your content is... WOW
🤔 hmmm
I guess it could be done No-code, maybe!!
the transition sounds are really irritating to the ears

Do you own the Company? mmmm
No
Webcomponents would be amazing for this type of saas.
