1:40 RELATABLE. I was making my own list of "Top Favorite Horror Films" and "Top Favorite Action Films" on Letterboxd and I just couldn't organize it EXACTLY correct passed top 20. So I decided to cut it off at top 20 action and top 20 horror (too hard to list correctly passed there).
@@ramboraph4life - for sure, I know what you mean. I've seen some major shifts in my own lists over time. I'm an older guy now, so sometimes things shift due to age too.
Excellent list! I'm glad that you gave Split Second and Deep Rising some love, they are 2 criminally underrated films. Have you ever watched Shocker (Wes Craven)? that's another that never seems to get a mention but is a great entertaining movie with a top ending. Have a good New Year!
Great video good list. Some of my favorites would probably be dawn of the dead remake, the crazies remake,28 days later,Evil dead 1,The collector, the collection,Predator 1.
12:43 Agreed bro! 21:31 I still till this day remember that time you reviewed that film how you dressed up looking like Doug with that toy shotgun bro LOL. 21:57 More 'like a 'AMPED'' up version of ''Strew Dogs'' IMHO. 31:28 Well said ''Let it go,let it go'' Wonderful job on the list brother it would be very hard to pick 50 favorite anything LOL
Matt, you should post this exact list on your Letterboxd. I know you have many lists kinda similar but you don't have a strictly "Top 50 horror movies" I believe.
We don't get scared of horror movies cause we're adults I stopped being scared when I was 14. Real horror is when somebody is trying to kill you and you have to fight or kill to survive.Imagine a home invasion that's scary cause it could happen.

BRUH! I was LITERALLY in the middle of watching your old top 41 favorite horror films video. Lol
Weird, right? I watched that video again maybe just a month ago.
They're fun videos for sure

I remember your 69 favorite horror movie list videos from years ago that had footage
Old school subscribers will know about this
Looks like both the first power and Prince of darkness took major nose dives on this list, they didn't even appear this time around
A lot of films have come out since the last time I did a list like this. Plus it's hard to remember every horror film you've seen.

I love Shocker. I think I did say that somewhere in the list.

Nice list! Ocpcommunications should do the same thing
I second this!
Creepshow will be number 1, if I remember correctly. Unless things changed and The Thing or The Shining took the top spot.
I wish a bunch of my buddies would. It's entertaining to see how each person's list differs
Top 5 for me original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Thing 80s , The Shining, Black Christmas original, and original Halloween
Your taste in movies is very similar to mine. Nobody ever seems to remember films like Death Machine, The Relic and Graveyard Shift.

Thanks for the list Matt...
Thought there would have been more John Carpenter's work, but cest la vie...
Well there's The Thing, The Fog and In the Mouth of Madness in the list.
@@ramboraph4life True enough, guess I just wanted Prince of Darkness to make an appearance. But it's a hard task for anybody. Hope that you're well.
Great list 🔥
Also do you prefer Total Recall with Arnold or Lethal Weapon from 1987 ?
I'd put Total Recall above.
Total Recall.
Predator and Aliens are action horror
4:03
End of days or RAMBO 4 ??
I'm gonna say end of days even though it's been over 20 years since I last saw it.
What a weird two films to choose between!!!
End Of Days and Ghostbusters 2 are really alike.
Constantine reminded me of it as well.
Blair Witch
House of a Thousand Corpses
Devils Rejects.
Halloween 1-8
Psycho
Evil Dead 1-3
Cube 1-3

Cool list. I like some of your picks, but I had to ask. You wouldn't put "The Thing" on your list?
@@James.Sunderland haven't seen it in over 8 years 😬
So I plan to rewatch it very soon.
@@strangerboi101 Please do. I know it'll top your list.
