I have a big beard, therefore the eating in public is a often problematic for me, but now i know, that the Böker is will be ideal for me, e.g. the spoon size for an ice cream. Demanding presentation video, it helped a lot. Thank you!
I had no idea the Boker would come apart. Very nice. Case makes one for a little over 100 dollars. Hobos who can afford a Case hobo knife, aren't really Hobos. 🤠
oh i didn't know this boker came apart, so i ignored it. don't know if i want to pay that much even for the cheapo. i got a cheapo one for like under $5
before I clicked on the link, I'd have thought that Boker was going to be about 40-50 at LEAST. BUt that's a bargain at 23. I think I'll just stick with my el cheapo that I got in my Mossy Oak "survival kit" I picket up for less than 20 bucks. By itself, it probably woulda cost 5? lol
It crossed my mind to stick them together, but if it was designed to not come apart it would be a lot lighter as each section has an extra frame as it is on each piece if it was a one piece tool it would just need a linner between each tool..plus i would prefer a bigger spoon that is not favouring the right hand...I have seen vintage ones from the 60's that were perfect they were made more practical back then made in Japan.
For me, this is not a Hobo Knife, but a cutlery knife. One does not take one's cutlery with me everywhere, but a knife that contains cutlery is practical for everyone.

Boker is a fine set. I've seen Scout Knives that are one piece with knife, fork, spoon, and other dining tools.
Thank you, for the demo.
Nicely made...
cool, thanks

You could tack weld it together. It Wouldn't come apart then.

Elk Ridge hobo is the exact same knife but $10 less.
Not anymore..... I just bought one and it's well worth the $33 I paid... in fact I'm pretty sure they've been discontinued

So what is a Hobo knife?
I thought the cheap one was a hobo knife because it is cheap...
Just bring a bag with real =usable utensils.
That would be to easy 🤣🤣🤣
