They made some interesting decisions for the OSKO like adding in that toy stripe in alt mode, and the yellow markings on the arm in bot mode. I think they were good decisions. Let's see who Pangu KOs next
I think this is the 1st time the term "oversized" is actually appropriate. Normally these are simply upscaled a little, but this monster! It is indeed "Over" sized! 😂 Way too big for my tastes but hey, if you need a giant Prime ...here it is!
Mines seems to be perfectly fine, tight joints etc which is giving me more fear actually because im waiting for the penny to drop, but i did the same and the battery sizes are actually on the bottom of the box inbetween all the chinese characters, off the top of my head its lr41 for both the eyes and the gun, and its lr621 batteries for the matrix
Do you mean mp36 as there is no MPP 36 there is an awesome 12 inch transforming Megatron that Wei Jang did a couple years ago I have him he's amazing but if you are referring to mp36 he is only 9 and a half inches tall
Received mine today. Came with a broken arm so thats a thing. Also had no issues with the light in the matrix it works fine and the batters are LR621 its on the bottom of the box but in chinese. My legs did not have any of the floppiness that yours has out to the side held well and the knees held well and did not sag. My smoke stacks however are floppy and do not snap in place anywhere and easily flop in and out of the recessed space they sit in when in bot mode. Super pissed about the arm and if Pangu does not make this right it will be the last figure of theirs I purchase.

I'm SUPER glad I never got that Lewin Resources oversized OP. This is like 100x better. As far as scaling, it scale pretty well with GI Joe Classified stuff
Another great review. I agree that this doesn’t fit with my collection. I already have the Lewin Resources Optimus. And that piece is standing on the floor of my theater room. Might have been tempted if fully painted.
TBH after just getting mine, as one of the many people who also got their copy with a broken arm I would set this as a 2. If you get one with both arms attached it's worth it but the broken arm issue is pretty widely spread.
The lower ball joints elevate the alternate heads when attached to the body. That's why the battle damaged head and Starscream's head look weird on the body. You'll notice how recessed the ball joint is in the standard head. I don't understand why they did this.. Removing the shoulder stock from the Megatron gun enable's Prime to hold the weapon better.
If it was my copy I would do that, but it's very unwieldy at this size and I didn't want to damage someone else's figure especially after so many reviews of the same design
Glad I went with The Ultimate Edition Lewin Prime. To many QC issues being reported with this and it just seems cheaply made to me. But that's just my opinion. Great review though.
I own a couple of the Pangu Legends scale Omega Supremes (Downsized KO of I believe the DX9 OS). If that mold is anything to go by I would expect them to be doing some repaints of this guy, although it's at a much higher price point so maybe they won't. The Omega has something like 8 or 9 different versions released or coming soon.
Lewin is more of a 1:1 scale with them. This pangu is a bit smaller. I searched tfw and saw Daimchoc had pics of the pangu in truck mode with a BS stormtrooper halfway out the cab door and the trooper was way too big. There was also a pic with a ML black widow on the bot mode's shoulder... and while the scale might seem close enough to perhaps fudge how it may have looked if animated in the 80s show, I think the 4-inch modern 1/18 scale would make a more accurate match on scale from a technical perspective.
I mean its like 150 shipped. I wasn’t expecting anything more than what it is. Had it been a 200 225 then i would have expected paint and diecast smoke stacks. But for its price im not sure you can or should expect more. Just my opinion. Still waiting on mine. Got stuck is delayed delivery due to Chinese New Year

I came to see this big boi transform even if it's the same copy. 😢

The Megatron silencer almost has the same issue as MP-36. Well played.
You can actually extend the bottom of the gun grip and Optimus CAN hold it
