Guess what? They’ve done it again they have just released referred iteration of be my pro you said you had the second generation now they’ve got the third generation one of the highlight features. It has a new AI assistant that you can ask questions to Please check the old cam flat for more details
Can it be used out of the stand, held in the hand? Can it read text on the screen of a tablet, computer, or phone while being held in the hand? Can I buy it without the stand? Thanks, Linda
You can use it out of the stand, held in the hand, and yes it can read from electronic screens. You might be better off with the 2.0 model, it's cheaper and doesn't come with the stand but it can't connect to a computer. th-cam.com/video/wp5MC18qji0/w-d-xo.html

Great job going through and demonstrating all of the new features! I really appreciate the quality of your videos!
Thank you very much!
Excellent job guys, a thorough walk-through the 3.0. Really helpful 👌I enjoyed the comedy along the way too 😂
Glad to hear it!
I love the first OrCam read and I just purchased the new OrCam 3.0 which proves I'm an OrCam freak and 1👍👍
Nothing freaky about loving Orcam!

Thank you for the thorough review. Hopefully they can reduce the lag to make the device more useful for more than spot reading on a computer screen.
They just released a new version that connects over USB which solves the lag issue!
Question, how do you think the OrCam 3.0 would work for a teacher looking at math and a lot of hand writing?
Unfortunately not, it doesn't handle math symbols well.
cool video.
Glad you enjoyed it!

I wish I had or cam but I just can’t afford it
Yeah it is a shame how much assistive technology costs.
These would help loads being dyslexic but I just can't see myself spending £2000+ think it's ridiculously over priced
