    I love the first OrCam read and I just purchased the new OrCam 3.0 which proves I'm an OrCam freak and 1👍👍

    I love how they have 3.0, I am familiar with OrCam and I have a My eye pro2

      Guess what? They’ve done it again they have just released referred iteration of be my pro you said you had the second generation now they’ve got the third generation one of the highlight features. It has a new AI assistant that you can ask questions to Please check the old cam flat for more details

    Thank you for the thorough review. Hopefully they can reduce the lag to make the device more useful for more than spot reading on a computer screen.

      They just released a new version that connects over USB which solves the lag issue!

    Can it be used out of the stand, held in the hand? Can it read text on the screen of a tablet,computer, or phone while being held in the hand? Can I buy it without the stand? Thanks, Linda

      You can use it out of the stand, held in the hand, and yes it can read from electronic screens. You might be better off with the 2.0 model, it's cheaper and doesn't come with the stand but it can't connect to a computer. th-cam.com/video/wp5MC18qji0/w-d-xo.html

      @@VisionForwardTechConnect yes it is I enjoy using assist technologies I know on my iPhone I use assistive technology all the time! Such as Seeing AI and be my eyes

    These would help loads being dyslexic but I just can't see myself spending £2000+ think it's ridiculously over priced

      Yeah, it's definitely on the pricier side!nIf you have a smartphone you can try the free Google Lookout (Android) or Seeing AI (iPhone) apps for a similar feature set
