They are doing amazing visuals with the lowest budget that they can get away with (to cut costs, not because they can’t afford it) and working wonders while doing so. If you want something that isn’t “boring” go hit up Micheal Bay or something lmao

So much so, that if I were making my own version of the video, I’d make it so sunny it’d look kind of like the Lowkey As Hell video colour wise. (Not that I’m knocking this video of course, it’s so cool we get to see what Awsten sees when he hears this! I just imagine it a little differently.) I’d keep all the visual effects the same though, those are awesome. :)

@@ghostw3938 dude you don’t need to have synesthesia to link emotions to colours people do it all the time. it’s just more conscious linking of the emotions of the song and the colours of the emotions which happens automatically with synesthesia. nobody’s claiming to have synesthesia who doesn’t, just that awsten talking about his and making it the basis for the visuals for this video makes you think about your own associations more. plus waterparks have a big enough following that they probably do have followers who actually have synesthesia, and the open discussion of it means they can feel more comfortable talking about it than they might otherwise. who are you to dictate how someone else experiences something, i guess everyone who doesn’t have synesthesia should put a disclaimer on every comment they make about the visuals? take an art class you’ll learn pretty quickly that there are commonly associated emotions with specific colours. sorry to go off on one but your comment really rubbed me the wrong way. i don’t see these comments as people pretending to experience something they don’t, just an honest discussion of the way this song makes them feel, which i don’t think is “cringe” at all

This song is so incredible! I remember when life was just too much and I used music and books to forget about what happened in the 'real world'. I really felt that I wasn't doing what I wanted and I sort of still aren't but one day I will. This song just reminds me of getting through that time where I really didn't want to be in the life I was. Now I have opportunities and an entire life in front of me, even if there is only one and not nine, I'm gonna live it as my own and not anybody else's.
