RULES:
The object of the game is to be the first player to complete 4 missions.
Shuffle the mission cards and deal two to each player face down. Place the rest of the cards face down on the table. Players looks at their mission cards but keep them hidden from their opponents. Shuffle the square Connect 4 tiles and place them face down as a draw deck. Flip over the top Connect 4 tile faceup on the play area. This is the start tile. The youngest player goes first then play proceeds clockwise.
On your turn, flip over the top connect 4 tile and place it adjacent to any tile already in play. Tiles may not be placed diagonally nor overlap tiles at the seams. Tiles must be placed in a grid. When you lay a tile, if you create a matching pattern with a mission card in your hand, you complete it and lay that card face up on the table. You may not win a mission for a pattern made on a previous turn.
Missions must match the same shape and color in any orientation. Gray circles are blanks and may not be used in any mission. Some connect 4 tiles have power-ups. If you place a tile with a power-up you are allowed to use the ability. Each ability may only be used once. The power-ups are as follows:
Rotation - rotate any tile in play so long that tile isn’t completely surrounded on all 4 sides by other tiles.
Add - Place this tile on top of any other tile in play
Subtract - remove one tile in play and put it on the bottom of the connect 4 draw deck.
Wild - this dot can be any color you choose for the rest of the game.
The first player to complete 4 missions is the winner.
Thank you so much for this video I had no Idea how to play, About to play right now, We'll see how it goes. Thank you for making your content. Keep up the great work
Hey I know this is nine months later but do you remember how that game went
Hey it's been a year how did the game go?
Still wondering how that game went
This is the best how to play video in existence
Finally a better game
As I was walking down the isles at my local CVS store, I found this, Clue and Battleship card games (there was also Guess Who? but I wasn't interested) for about $7 each. Curiosity got the better of me and I found videos like this one to see exactly how they managed to take a classic board and turn it into a card game. It was probably easier with Clue, since it already has cards in the board game. But I was impressed with Battleship and I thought this game looked simple, fun, and adorable for some reason.
I bought this card game for my 6 year old grandson. Couldn't figure it out so I looked on You Tube. I still don't get it! Guess I will have to watch it several times! I can't believe they suggest ages 6 & up for this game!
My kids are that age and they always understand first ... i be in a loop lol
Thank you😊
If using the rotate power up card. Do you know if you can rotate a card around to put it back in exactly the same way it was all ready then making a fresh turn and using it to complete a mission?
Here, I have some questions that I cannot find the answer anywhere!
1. Is it mandatory to keep the tile with the + sign on top of other tiles or can we place it beside other tiles like for normal tiles?
2. Is it mandatory to rotate some other tile (not surrounded by all sides obviously) whenever we play the rotate tile or can we avoid or skip rotating the other tile?
3. Can the tile be rotated up to 360 degrees or can we only rotate 90 degrees?
4. Can we rotate the same tile that we played that had the rotate power up once placed?
5. Whenever we get a rotate power-up and want to rotate a tile that is kept over another tile, do we have to rotate the entire set of tiles (including both top and bottom tiles) or can we rotate only the top placed tile?
6. Is it mandatory to remove a tile whenever we play a minus power-up tile? Also, can we remove tile from anywhere even if it is surrounded by all sides?
7. If a player plays a rotate tile and can finish a mission, but by using rotate power up he is also able to make his other mission (assuming both missions are different), so both missions will be completed or only the first completed mission will be counted or is it user's choice which mission he wants to be marked as completed?
8. Do we have to follow the colors as well or can we assume that whenever a pattern with any color is made, we complete our mission even if the mission color and pattern we made have different colors?
9. If we have the same missions with the same colors, and we can make the pattern, will both missions be counted as completed instantly?
These are a lot of questions but I am unable to find the answer in the manual or even online
Explained in superb way.....
Thanks for the explaination now I understand how to ppay!
Does the deleting a tile using a power up effect already won missions if the completed pattern is now gone?
I have a question do you have to use the power up or do you decide if you want to use it?
u can use it but only on the turn u placed it
ITS NOT OVER.....UNTILL I WIIIINNN!!!
If you have already completed a mission before of the same type when you draw a card, what do you with that card? I don’t understand how this game is anything else but luck. It seems too simple to win
I like it
power ups can be used once...... once per turn? once per game? once per card? once per player?
Once for that card, not even that type of card
Hi i am first. Sss games, i would upload videos for solutions for puzzles u upload and coent the link in the puzzle video. Is it okay?
Exelent very explicated
It is interesting
The fact that card game has more unique skills, more 2d and more cheap
Can my next player claim a mission that I created in my turn after placing a card? or player can claim a mission only in his/her own turn? It is very confusing!!!
Only on your own turn
2 mission cards??! I want 4!
