  • Installing OpenDroneMap on the virtual Linux Server created in a previous video ( • QGIS User 0040 - BackE... ).
Installing dependencies and pulling resourses from GitHub to build the Docker Container that will supply the service to process photos into geodata.

Awesome tutorial tying WebODM with other processing and viewing tools for the WebODM assets. Please add more videos on how the assets can be used.

    I so appreciate your videos!
Following this, I managed to get some awesome results with very little effort.
I am having a problem where it seems my VM runs out of space, drive space, I think. The VM is supposed to dynamically allocate this but it seems that the dynamic allocation may not be working as expected. My second run is where I ran into this and re-cloning the original server and setting up WebODM again, I was able to process more data, but the resources came close to filling the drive. Any suggestions?

Might be a VM limitation. Try the "live" version (www.opendronemap.org/liveodm/). Ram is sooner or later a limitation.

I realized that for some reason the Ubuntu server only has half of the drive allocated as usable space - perhaps mirroring for redundancy?
I expanded my .vdi to 100 GB, reinstalled the server which had just under 50GB available on the 100GB virtual drive, but that was enough space to happily process my data.
      Thanks again @klaskarlsson

would this work the same if it was physical installation of decktop Ubuntu, not the virtual server
