PM Modi Returns To 'Karmabhoomi' Kashi After Poll Win, Performs Ganga Aarti | News Track

PM Modi in Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released Rs 20,000 crore under the PM-KISAN scheme in his first visit to Varanasi, after assuming office for the third consecutive term. During his visit, the prime minister will participate in the PM Kisan Samman Sammelan and release Rs 20,000 crore as part of the income support scheme for over 9.26 crore farmers. At around 7 PM, Modi will witness Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. He will also perform 'pooja' and 'darshan' at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple at around 8 PM, an official statement said. In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi won from his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi for the third consecutive time.

After not securing enough majority to form a govt single handedly he self appointed himself as PM and gave key posts to those who supported his self appointment. There was no BJP parliamentary meeting held and elected BJP MP were never given a chance to make a claim to PM post. There was no nomination or unanimous decision within the party to give him PM post for the 3rd time. He acted in a dictatorial way without giving another person from the party a chance to be PM even though there were MPs in BJP with better vote margins from different states. His own vote share had diminished drastically and yet he stuck on to the PM chair selfishly. At least the BJP parliamentary meeting should have taken place and decision should have been made in the meeting about who should be PM. He sidelined his own party MPs
