A future video idea...
How about a debrief of the flight plan vs. the actual flight track. I’m almost done with my instrument and it really helps to see the real life approaches and arrival procedures into Class B airspace and how the arrivals mesh with the approaches.
@Sean Hassard Everyone feels that way at first. Stick with it and fly as frequently as you can. Someday you'll look back and chuckle at things that now seem so confusing. Enjoy!

I feel that this video shows just how busy single pilot IFR flying can be. Staying ahead of the aircraft is so important!

Reggie's socks were classy, but for an aviation vlog, yours win.
They change the weather letter designator more than once an hour when conditions change quickly or there's an important NOTAM (e.g. birds, construction on runway, accident blocking a taxiway, etc). Otherwise, they'd never get past the 24th letter, "Xray". I'm sure you've seen 'em start the alphabet over again on some days.

Stevo, thanks for this video. I got my private ticket at the old Vandenberg airport which was just 18-36. Tampa exec wasn't there in 1978 when I got my ticket. Wow what memories this brings back. Keep up the great videos.
“Not for navigational purposes”. Funny story, I chartered a sailboat in the Virgin Islands once and the best chart we had was the place mat in the galley.
One would think that TBM would include breaking in the gear up procedure.
Altimeter settings honestly should be part of the communication with the plane from the ground and it automatically updates them.

Reggie wins again. Those colors are perfect. If Steveo's socks were usable for navigation, that may have tipped the scales, but alas, I'd hate to be in an emergency, have my legs cut off, and not have those socks as usable for navigation. You'd only be asking for FAA trouble post incident. And they just might have time to pursue you once the shutdown is "resolved".

No doubt, Steveo's chart socks, hands down.
In regards to speed limits...the controller only sees your ground speed..so depending upon winds aloft you can push it a little. Just ask SWA pilots :P
