This is my favorite overlays in synastry but it can only truly work, in my opinion, if both people are very self aware. The Venus person needs to have good aspects to their Venus, the 12th house person needs to have awareness of themselves. My husband and I have this. We love one another more than life. But I’ve seen this overlay manifest very painfully in other people’s lives because it takes a lot of communication and maturity. Which, for whatever reason, a lot of people lack when it comes to the 12th house.

I guess it depends on what sign it is in. Both my NN and Venus are in Pisces. Usually when i land into someone's 12th i end up being like a therapist for them. My venus allows me to see what relationship issues they have. My NN gives me intense curiosity to help them dive deep into their issues and come up with an aesthetically pleasing ritual to heal the soul. An example would be that i could see why my friend has relationship problems and what her self sabotaging pattern was. My solution was to do a women's retreat that's aesthetically and spiritually pleasing to the eye (venus) and that dives deep (NN)into shadow work and healing. So I’m laughing my ass off because I have my Venus in Scorpio in my secret partners 12th house in conjunction with his Scorpio ascendant. I also have Mars and Ceres in Scorpio in his 12th house, which conjuncts his south node. Other placements include my Mercury and Juno in Scorpio which conjuncts his ascendant from the 1st house. I also have Psyche in Scorpio in his 12th house. He does have Pholus in Scorpio in his 1st house conjunct my Juno and Mercury. His Saturn is in my 12th house in Cancer along with his Ceres.
