Got 1914 and both 1940 boxes last year. So happy these got reprinted and had a chance to add them to my collection. Had several plays of 1914 and 1940 Global already, so the investment paid off. This years line up is looking great. Top of my list is North Africa, that’s a must have for me. The rest is also pretty compelling, but I’ll have to reassess my gaming budget for this year first 😅
As someone who owns every edition of Axis & Allies ever, even the pre-Hasbro stuff, this announcement both excites me and makes my wallet quail in fear. So many things to find the budget for - and after all these years of scooping up every new version of A&A, there's no chance I'm NOT going to still get everything! The miniatures game is the only thing I've never pursued, and even with that, I still have a decent assortment for skirmishes. Most excited about the North African campaign, obviously, as it sounds like it will be classic A&A with a few new wrinkles to think about. That's ideal. A little something fresh without shaking up the formula too much. Really glad the A&A license appears to be in good hands!
I basically pre-ordered all of it! Very excited for N. Africa and the Global 40 big map mat. The only reason i found out about all of these goodies is that i was checking in (as i often do) on Guadalcanal. I've wanted it for years and years, but never quite was willing to pay the premium price for a legacy copy. I had no idea Renegade took over this series and started reprinting stuff. I am pumped for G.I. Joe: Battle for the Arctic Circle. I am so glad Renegade is introducing the "Powered by Axis & Allies" system. I think there is a ton of potential in getting folks who might not otherwise be terribly into things like G.I. Joe by getting them in the door with the A&A system. I am one of those folks! I know virtually nothing about G.I. Joe, but this game looks awesome. I love the A&A system, it plays in 90 minutes, has hexes, has awesome pieces. Maybe I'll get into G.I. Joe just from getting this game, who knows? Either way, very excited to play both Battle for the Arctic Circle and North Africa, of course.
Love the GI-JOE concept. Would also love it if you are able to do another 80s favourite…Transformers. A Transformers Axis & Allies style game in Cybertron would be awesome.

Ordering 2 GI Joe and 2 North Africa today. It’s smart to get hit dice and ipc chips! I’ve spent $200 on them so far so I doubt I’ll be ordering them from here. Unless they too looking to pass up!!

Renegade is doing great work for axis and allies. I got the 1914 reprint last year and I'm looking forward to getting North africa this year. Love the moves being made. My dream is for renegade to produce a Napoleonic war board game that is axis and allies themed. Sort of like Axis and allies: ww1 1914. A release like that would send this community into a spiral

Need the giant map for 1914 but it need rework, get rid of the useless saharah IPC counter and rebalance size, the portion where most of the action is has the smallest province. glad i could my hand on it tho, thanks.

I use the Risk Game of Thrones Board and Mini Figurines from Song of Ice an Fire game. I use gold silver and bronze plastic. It's 3 vs 2 with the Targaryen being team with just one Allie. It's pretty awesome. But I want and official Axis & Allies with Game of Thrones.

You couldn’t paint a mural for the Joe game? Like all your other A&A games? Instead, you used amateurish line art? C’mon, folks! Even the Joe toys featured fully-painted artwork on the cards/boxes. While the minis look nice, that Joe box looks f’ing awful.

I really doubt they will be able to do the minis again. Painters were easier to find back then.
