I have been using oneplus 6 from last 5 years, at that time i bought 8 gb ram varient. And i think i made the right decision because even after 5 years, this phone can still hold 6 apps at once and serving me well. So, now i will buy either 12 gb or 16 gb ram varient for the longevity of the phone.

If you want to do gaming or do heavy multitasking, then 6gb. If you use normally, then 4gb will be fine. I use 4gb ram phone and it's running well. Although, i feel like it's becoming worse when gaming and i can't do multitasking while gaming. So if that is what you want, 6gb is much better.

I think metal body and frame should be there for all phones. Glass is just useless as mostly people use back cover and in front tempored glass of 40 ruppe, so they cant feel glass. And if that glass breaks, then phone will look very bad and cost of glass replacement is also high .
metal body heats up more and because of fast charging nowadays, phones need to be as cool as possible and plastic and glass aren't conductors of heat so it helps in cooling. if there is metal back and fast charging...overheating can damage the battery and other components
