I received your email today. Thank you. I like your class, which I haven't heard in a long time. My wish for this year is to go to London again and study English from scratch.
Thank you, so much sir, for this informative lesson. I have had confusion regarding pronunciation of certain words for a quite some time, and I have asked about it a few times during your live sessions, but it seems you didn't notice. I would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify the pronunciation of the following words in the MRP accent: "air," "ear," and "hair."
As a non-native British English teacher, I struggled with my accent a lot. It was a long (20-year) journey to where I am now. I used to copy and shadow many Brits with their beautiful RP accent, but every time I ended up speaking as a good parodist. I didn't sound natural. The reason to this, as I see it, is that when you copy someone's accent you automatically adopt their manner of speaking, which is not always similar to yours. I love your channel! Thank you for this wonderful video. ❤
Greetings! Firstly, let me thank you for your videos which I find highly interesting and useful. Secondly, allow me prompt this question. Actors in Harry Potter's films make use of which accent? I believe that not all of them behave similarly in terms of accent but I'm referring myself to the majority. Would you be kind enough to answer? Thank you dearly! 🙏
May I give you a suggestion, mate? You are making videos mostly for non-native speakers of English, I suppose. In this case, I'd be much better, I reckon, to speak a bit slower, otherwise people will simply not understand you.

So obviously I learned "modern RP" over 50 years ago at school, because we were taught to say /fa:st/ , /ba:th/ etc.

For a German, the non-rhotic pronounciation is more familiar; -er in Wasser is nearer to British.
Ayup me owd! Ah conna unerstan a weerd thee sees. Tha dunna tok reet na mower.
There is no such thing as Modern RP - you are talking about people who speak Estuary English convincing themselves they speak RP.
Very intersting lessons but please can you speak a bit slower for foreigners like me ? Thanks in advance .
I am British saying to you this is slower how he was speaking here. We British speaks slow and clear too. If you are not British you won't get it
It is ok sir, but i am not British obviously and I am following in order to learn. Trying my best.@@Trendycosmetics-os6gh
It isn’t an accent, it’s a way of talking. I challenge you to find people in Scotland who talk like yourself.
I do not like the modern RP of the BBC that has replaced RP. It sounds harsh and irritating. I love and miss the old RP. I want it back.
With this (ridiculous) Woke era, there's no more "BBC" accent _ unfortunately ! (As it used to be until last century).

He is not speaking fast for an intermediate level; his language is very clear and pleasant to listen.
I think he speaks at a good speed rate. Beginners can always activate the subtitles 😊
