This channel is underrated!!!!!
Thank you, that’s very kind of you to say so.
I actually took a break from the channel at the start of the year because it wasn’t getting much traction.
The last several videos I made were getting less and less view.
That being said, I do plan to make more videos in the future.
Thanks again.
I’m just come back from visiting that magnificent beautiful creature of humanity I enjoyed the locals who were there to explain to us the history of that magnificent place. Thank you Germany for sharing your history with me.
Thanks for this; as you say this gate has a big place in our history. One thing I love is that the line of the old Berlin wall is marked in the road that passes the gate. It's part of the beauty of the place to see people crossing that line every day without thinking about it.
Thanks for your comment! I’m glad you like the video. Yes, I noticed that line! I thought it was a really nice touch to mark the old path of the wall.
Very good video and interesting to watch. Hopefully your channel will grow truly deserve more attention!
Very kind of you to say so, thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
I can understand, why the Germans love this piece of architecture, it's place in history and it's simple but beautiful architecture. Very good video, accompanied by a concise bit of history, previously unknown to myself.
Thank You. Yes, it's been through a lot.
As a child in America growing up during the Cold War, it was always a distant dream of mine to some day walk through the Brandenburg Gate. When I first visited Berlin in 2000, I was finally able to walk through the Gate, but as it was shrouded in scaffolding for the renovation mentioned in the video, I couldn’t actually see it or touch it. Now I live in Berlin, and the Gate takes my breath away every time I see it. There is something indescribable about the Brandenburg Gate that draws people to it.
lucky you soon i am in germany
great monuments
Thanks 🙏🏼 for your video!
🇵🇹👍💚❤️ Berlin, wunderbar 🇩🇪
Thanks for the comment. I think so too!
very interesting
Very pleased to see last week when I visited that the orange paint thrown onto it last year by the protesting vandals has been removed, and the Gate looks like it did before that disgraceful attack
Orange paint? It sounds like those Just Stop Oil protests, is that right? They’re crazy!
@@sightseeingspotfacts Yes, you got the name of the protesters right
