Thank you for all you've done with this channel. You have saved me so much time and money; with your well throughout, and informative videos. Again thanks
Thank you for making this video. I just purchased this exact bike and was wondering how well it would function. There are a lot of videos out there from people who have learned how to work on these Hawks and swear by them being really good bikes for the price. I'm very much looking forward to more videos of the Hawk, especially as you put more miles on it. By the way, I’m from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I feel for you being in that heat and humidity down there. I spent 35 years there. That’s one of the major reasons we moved to the northwest: to get away from the heat and humidity. But hey, at least you found some back roads to enjoy during the spring and fall when you get a few cool days here and there.
Thanks for the first real coherent test of a Hawk 250 without the excessive mods, drag races and mud bogs. My 1980 Yamaha XT250 is in showroom shape and rides great, but for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, it's not something I want to depend on 50 miles from the nearest phone, no cell service in most remote areas. I have been looking at Hawk for riding some two-tracks on the Lake Superior shoreline, shopping trips and keeping the miles off my truck. Thoughtful video and very helpful. Thanks!
ive been waiting for another update on this, alomst bought tbr 7 or a hawk about two years ago decided to wait and then lo and behold you got a hawk to test it out for me! thanks for your content
Where you take that bike is up to you. If you film the journey, post a video about it. I'd love to see places in Louisiana I might otherwise never see.
I was looking at 250 bikes before I purchased my first motorcycle that was a Rebel 250. No lie I had so much fun on that bike. Now I have 2 BMW K1200 GTs and a Shadow 750. Gotta clean the carb on my 4 stroke motor bicycle today to get it running again for some adventure rides
I'd be out riding this weekend, but I'm having carburetor issues. I went camping up at 7000ft in elevation last weekend, and my old Suzuki ran almost flawlessly besides idle being finicky. I rejetted, and now I can't even crank it lol. I'm gonna try again with the jets in a bit, but kinda bummed. I have the same voltage meter and usb charger, do you find it drains the battery when left connected, or am I just being paranoid?
Where's the discord server link? I tried a link from an old video and it says invalid. I'm in the process of building a motorized bike, so would be nice to have somewhere to go if i have questions.
Well done 👏 thank you for the ride. Idk if you answer questions anymore, but I've wonding why you went with the Hawk vs. the templar or even the Lifan KPX. I ask because I've very interested in these types of bikes. Honda, Suzuki Yamaha, KTM, etc. Are just way too much money 😅😅😅. Anyways, I love these video 📹 keep it up.
Motocheez did a few videos about it and I liked what I saw. I'm not sure if the other options are also counterbalanced but that was the main reason I went for the Hawk X. I think the new DLX models are also counterbalanced. I also like that parts and information are easy to find for the Hawks.
Hawk 250 is a great bike. Seems most channels of bicycle has bike channels have upgraded to Hawk 250 bikes or overbear 150cc Champions (Honda CT70 clones). All street Legal gas bikes. Yet very inexpensive. I hope your HAWK 250 servers you well.
On my front. I bought a EbIke that gets 100-200 mile range. AniiOKi A8-Pro-Max. I'm loving it. I did a 110 mile Ride one day on it. Still had 60% Battery left. New version of my EbIke has dual motors. My is single rear only version.
When I alone weigh as much as when you go two up 🤣 Even with different sprockets, tuned carb, valve lashing adjustments, and spark plug. I can barely hit 55 on my hawk.
My piece-o-junk Hawk 250 has given me 17,000 problem-free miles. If you take care of her, she'll take care of you. Good video!

As long as I remember to turn it off I have not noticed any drain.

I bought the x9 125cc. It also hits 55mph. We'll worth it🚴🏻♂️💨✨
What part of Louisiana are you in...????
What a cool place to live in...!!!!
Central. For some of the most beautiful roads look for the areas around Williana, Calvin, and Goldonna.

do you need a motorcycle license for it?
