I loved learning how to build injection molds. It was something I wanted to learn while working in an injection house. We built plastic and rubber injection molds for so many different industries, but our biggest industry was for automotive parts.
Interesting to catch up on these, it’s good to see a decent take on the mould making structure I’m sure you’ll deliver some good insight with these group of vlogs, I have my own mould shop and tool room and been in the business for 40 years and still learning so good job here Phil 👍👍
And also, I'm at least a 5th or 6th generation machinist in my family and the only one to tackle mold making. I also have my great grandfathers Gerstner tool chest and his original machinist bible from the early 1940's complete with a picture inside of him and his wife in their early years.

I hope this is a full series because learning about this is the main reason I wanted to be a machinist. Super interesting!
Thank you so much for making this series.

This is great! Thank you very much!
I'm not in the industry but just a curious engineer and I've been waiting for this discussion for a very long time. Thanks, Phil.

That's the same moldmaking textbook I used in class in the late 1970s.....still have it somewhere.
Too bad the book is $75 on amazon.
