    Jackson was so abusive and selfish in the end. He didn't care what he did to Aaron and his mother as long as he got what he wanted. People say that Robert treats Aaron like shit at times and yes he does. But this??? I just can't see Robert ever doing this to Aaron. In the end Jackson's actions were worse than anything Rob has ever done to him.

    In true life Jackson could have just refused to be fed..At some point he would have told someone the social services people his wishes were not being honored..It would have gone to court and his wishes would have been met..

    @Tebigong101 On more than one occasion Jackson has told Aaron and Hazel that he can make other arrangements if helping him is too painful for them. I don't condone suicide, but sometimes people get to a stage where they feel they can't cope with life anymore -- even with counseling (which Jackson has so far refused). To be honest with you, I am not sure how I would cope if I were to become a tetraplegic; the only thing I probably fear more is losing my sight.

    The reason Jackson seems really well, is because he has finally made peace with his decision.. My ex was so angry/sad/difficult when he was talking about it.. He told all of his friends he was going to do it in a couple weeks.. I thought he was feeling better about life.. He was happy for the first time in weeks, but chose to end it after he had told all of his friends good bye.... wrong. he had finally made peace with the decision.. That is when you have to worry, when they seem alright, once they make peace, it is too late to get help..

  • @MajorAlenko

    ah finally mentioned the legal side of it, but still no matter what they do, they'll still be held accountable, even with the videos of Jackson saying it was his idea alone, it's still illegal, and they're still committing murder.

    As much as it´s going to be hard to not see Marc anymore (and Jackson) I can´t wait to see it all happening. They make these huge episodes again and again
    And I can´t believe I saw Jackson really laughing. And with Adam!!! One thing is for sure: I would have loved more scenes with the 3 of them before you know what. For some reason this epi left me in a good mood, not with infinite sadness as usual. I liked Aaron and Hazel scene at the end too

    @Tebigong101 And its selfish to ignore the wishes and help others, especially those you love. Jackson needs help, his in psychological pain and fighting depression. The crux of the issue is, whose feelings do you consider when they clash? but again why do people say suicide is selfish and assume its some how automatically immoral or bad. In some situations it is a better decision.

  • @ZamTx1
    @ZamTx1 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Man. I forgot that Adam and Jackson ever met! ;)

  • @Tebigong101
    @Tebigong101 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    this is a bats ass crazy, I can empathize with Jackson, to feel trapped and drowning in despair but what he's asking of his mother and lover is selfish and cruel.
    Suicide is one thing, still quite selfish, but asking those who love you most to assist... the negative outcomes for them are too many to count.
    Say what you will but to hell with realism I'll take a bit of extraordinary intervention about now, a working pinky finger, a raging hard-on, or whatever, because this is beyond grim.

  • @soonersherewego
    @soonersherewego 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    oh Hazel but not only will you hate it, you will have to live with it for the rest of your life. This is so hard so unfair, but then life is unfair, I just hope Hazel counts the cost before she does it..cause there is no turning back. At least Jackson wants to make sure they don't get charged with murder or manslaughter, which tbh i still have a bad feeling about.

  • @yournewsecretcrush
    @yournewsecretcrush 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @CruzToxic I'm not condoning suicide, but I don't think you can really question Jackson until you've been in similar circumstances. I almost certain the thought would cross my mind if I was in Jackson's condition. I don't think I'd ask my family to help - but I'd definitely consider it.

    Jon im pissed at you, i told you to block me from watching this, :D :P, you know im going to be a basket case when it happens and im gonna expect you to do "whatever" it takes to get me out of the depression. :D :P Just joking thanks for all your hard work matey, appreciate you much.

    Ohhh ADAM...oh how I would love for him to lay in my bed...I mean I would love to have a mate like him. He just makes me smile ;-)
    Death, being it suicidal, DNR (do not resuscitate) or being it putting your pet of 15+ years to sleep, it's never easy. But if my friends needed my assistance, I'd do it for them. But I'd be sure to have all the legalities checked before proceeding.

  • @erzan
    @erzan 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @rkthurston ¬_¬ you totally miss my point. I don't want anyone to die. But If some one decided they want to die and nothing I said or did could change their minds, it is their ultimate choice to decide how to live their lives. Why should I constrain them over such an individual and personal decision? with all due respects, that is bloody no way an argument for mass murder. Mass murder is a positive action and I'm not making a positive action to kill anyone.

    @rkthurston yea it seems that way, they are just making it more and more un-enjoyable to watch, im very much over the story line, its been dragging out for way to long. in my opinion anyway.

  • @winsboy
    @winsboy 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @patroclus33 Seems they've missed out on the obvious then. Jackson has been going through great psychological pain. It still angers me that no one has even suggested getting him professional psychological help. Wish they'd either get it over with or get him some real help. That would be a difficult choice but it would be showing REAL love for him. Helping him commit suicide seems difficult, but I think it's the easy way out for all of them - short term.

  • @b4804514
    @b4804514 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @rkthurston Since the death of the Galvin Blyth this story line has been off track and you are right about the lack of gay relationship for Aaron. These writers could careless. I just hope Danny B gets a great job so he can show is ability in another show with better writers pushing the envelope like Danny has the ability to do so well.

  • @thunderbush1
    @thunderbush1 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just because Emmerdale put Jackson in a wheelchair, there's no need to turn him into Davros from Doctor Who! He has become manipulative and cruel.
    As for the storyline, if Jackson is doing ll this "research" on the net, how come he thinks that by making a video diary he will get Hazel and Aaron off the hook for killing him? I'm no legal expert, but I'm sure they will be in big trouble regardless.
    Not realistic at all, Emmerdale. Rethink please!

  • @erzan

    ''whatever your doing, keep it up''
    Like killing our son? o_O

  • @yournewsecretcrush
    @yournewsecretcrush 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't like the Jackson can be all cheery and happy. It's kind of a slap in the face to Aaron and Hazel. I can't say I don't understand it - but I don't like it. But I question whether someone can be happy knowing they are about to die - regardless if they want it or not. And not to be too critical here, but sometimes Marc's acting goes a little over the top when he plays "silly". I feel more embarrassed than anything else. I think he's brilliant, but I just wanted to throw that out there.

  • @sanyrub
    @sanyrub 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @rkthurston I mean, giving it a try and the result being you spending decades depressed without improvement must be the most horrible thing ever. That´s what the Jackson´t point is about. I know for sure I would think about it if I were him. Maybe he will improve but if not... he doesn´t want to even think about that misery. Hope I explained well

  • @soonersherewego

    @RIAEDWARDS AGREEDj!!! Jon is the best dude ever created, fast, efficient, hard worker, amazing friend, and down right Hot, he will kill me for this but it had to be said. :D :P seriously you are right, he cares about the peeps who follow him and he makes sure we get the story as fast as he can do it.

  • @sanyrub
    @sanyrub 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @3581monique What? I just left my comment. Only one. I´m not going to fight again and again like in some other episodes. My comment wasn´t disrespectful at all and was well explained. Repulsive is coming here everyday to watch a story you think is repulsive and comment over and over again trying to look down the show and the viewers that enjoy watching talent. Now please don´t ever reply my comments anymore, I´m begging you. It´s for your own shake too! You´re making a fool of yourself

  • @iluvjensen1
    @iluvjensen1 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is seriously pissing me off. Kill him off already or have him make a miraculous recovery because this storyline is fast losing it's "appeal". If Danny wasn't such a great actor I would have given up on this awhile back. Urgh!

  • @JordanjamesX
    @JordanjamesX 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    It just seems like the inevitable is going to happen. I understand the writers want to explore the issue of disabled people and homosexuality. However, I don't like that Jackson is now a depressed homosexual. A lot of television and movie shows have this storyline that gay people are just depressed and don't have happy lives.

  • @turnenginedidntU
    @turnenginedidntU 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sad how this will whole storyline will go down in history as a total and complete disaster. Promoting suicide to gays as a way out dont we have enough gay teens doing just that? Irresponsible! Thanks Adam Barton for saving us from another boring depressing episode with Hazel and Aaron (Jackson's best friend). Ha Ha I put that last friend bit in cause they never acted like lovers nor showed it.

  • @sanyrub
    @sanyrub 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @rkthurston And there are people even if it is only 2% that have lived depressed for decades. Your point is absurd, if the show wants to talk about a particular story they can. This is how it works. It wouldn´t be gay people in tv cos they are only 5-10% of the population. Do u want us to travel to the past where gays were invisible? The most famous case in Spain, the man spent 35 years wanting to die and depressed, he asked for help to Justice but didn´t get it so finally a friend helped him

  • @cullen523
    @cullen523 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    THIS. IS. INSANITY. Who just lets their loved one commit suicide? I get it, he's in a tough place. They could call someone, a psychiatrist, or a therapist, or something to help him learn to cope. I can't believe the writing on this show. A miracle cure would've been better than seeing Jackson give in to depression so easily. I'm really torn up about this, because Aaron's story helped me to see that I can still be a masculine guy and be gay, I'd hate to see Jackson's story end like this. :(
