I'm playing a mini D&D campaign with my friends! It's Christmas themed and we have to figure out what nasty creature has kidnapped Santa and turned all the toys into monsters. It's a lot of fun! 🐀
Also, pro tip... I've notices with a lot of ASMR creators, when they whisper words that end with a sss sound it comes out as a harsh whistle almost (when whispering). I myself don't do ASMR, so take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt, but my guess is to try make a shh sound instead of sss sound.
I think that's more down to accent and shape/size/placement of teeth. Some people's "s" is going to be inadvertently harsher than other's. The only way I see to avoid it, is using a de-esser, but I'd rather not put my recording through it, because it will also cut down the high frequencies in parts that cause tingles. That's worrisome, I might drop doing whispered videos full-stop, if it's that big of an issue.
@@nvaier I see what you mean with the accents and tooth placement, trying it right now it is hard to get a non tsss or sss sound without it sounding like I have a lisp, I also get what you mean with cutting out high frequency sounds. But, don't drop whispered videos as a whole, I do quite enjoy them. Sorry if I get this wrong but I do assume your first language isn't English, so you could try a full ASMR video in your native language or have a section of a video dedicated to it. I for one would love that and again assume the audience would too. You tried it (I think) in quite a recent video, where you said a few phrases in Polish (my guess is that it's Polish but I'm not the best at detecting languages lol) which I did comment on positively. Again, I aint an ASMR youtuber so take this with another grain of salt lol. Never-the-less, I love your work as a whole, keep doin what you doin funny elf man :3
@FemboyForces It is a bit discouraging, because it's the sort of thing that once you hear it, you can't unhear it, and I'm 100% going to be self-conscious about it now. I hope other people just don't mind it, but if I get more comments mirroring your sentiment, I will have to make some sort of decision around it. For now, you'll just have to bear with a whistly elf.
We're sleeping good with this one.

@FemboyForces Oh, that's just gibberish xD It's just random inaudible whispering xD
