I had a great dinner with my father, Dr. Paul Stanley, and my first dental mentor Dr. Chris Larson a few weeks ago. With over 90 years of dental experience between them, they hold a ton of knowledge. At one point Chris said, "life is nothing more than a series of relationships." I wanted to take a few minutes and dissect that topic into how it relates to stress in dentistry and how we can improve on that factor. I discuss communication with staff and patients and how we should think about avoiding stress in general through better communication skills.
