As someone who worked extensively with chinese vehicles this is most likely a stator or cdi failure. You will need a volt meter and about 10 minutes to figure out which is the issue. Check the yellow/ black wire to the ignition coil for AC volts, if none then find the Cdi check again for AC volts on the red/black wire. If none then stator has failed, check the blue/white cdi wire for AC volts if 0 stator has failed if working it show less than 1 volt.
Id almost be willing to bet the magneto, ignition triggering system around the flywheel is made out of the same chineseium as the dipstick, seen higher temperatures and met a more gruesome fate.
Lol😂 the odd thing is about all this content on this bike. You guys have just boosted the sales like 70% by showing just how steardy it really is.. Most any bike that lasts that long at full throttle will do pretty good on average riding. Great job guys 😂😂
I bought a BD125-10 earlier this year and this video series solidified my belief that it's better than the Grom in every way as long as you know how to wrench.
Stationary fully faired air-cooled engine. I already knew you would melt the wiring before I watched the video. I believe it's a good motorcycle overall. It's a Chinese ZX-CRF230-R for half the price of the CRF250L. Good for learning and customizing. The Honda 250l does 80mph, revs over 8k rpm, and dynos at 20hp. Over 70mph with the 230 is quite good, and supposedly dynos 17hp@8k rpm. I do think it's too heavy, I'm not sure how to fix that. I'm convinced it is a good city-bike, scooter alternative, "built not bought" trainer, throwaway bike, donor chassis for your race built MX motor that no longer has a frame cuz trees. Oh yeah, this Chinese cutie is begging to be slow-lested by anyone within a days drive of a Harbor Freight.
lol u guys know those engines only gets shipped with some oil for rust protection right... thats not oil you should drive with 🤣🤣🤣 when i saw the first episode i already thought yammie wont you change the oil for real motorcycle oil ??? 😂😂😂😂
Better be careful, Mr. surprised look eyebrows six months from now you're gonna be sitting behind a desk with Jamie explaining to us why he's getting rid of you
Weird to watch them buy a plug before testing to see if power is even being sent to the plug.. so easy to put a paper clip in the end and see if a spark jumps to ground.
These ship with transit oil thats supposed to be changed before you ride it the first time. At least my crappy falcon 250 did. Glad i sold it and bought a real bike.
I don't think it's shipped with oil, the oily substance inside of the engine is not ment to lubricate the engine but to save it from corrosion and you should replace it with a new good engine oil and break into the engine since it's brand new, i feel so frustrated of you guys The results would've been different and wouldve helped us here the poor community of bikers in africa😢
Are you getting power to the coil? If you are getting power, then you have a bad coil. And with low voltage ignition coils, like what that one has, it won't have enough power to jump the wire and the spark plug gap. So, new coil, new wire and see where it goes
aircooled needs to move if you rev it if you revved it stationary check that the wires from stator pickup did not melt of too right where they come out of the casing if it doesn't get the signal to spark it won't spark, if you don't have new plug screw driver inplace of the plug also works, naturally you want to be sure you touch the metal part then you will immediately know it is sparking if it does JK
Take that solenoid down to the autozone on Pickwick drive camarilli if you wanna save it send me the details of the ignition coil solenoid. I may be able to source it.
Talk about the blind leading the idiot. Neither of you have a clue about basic bike electrics, or seemingly anything else. Still makes me laugh though. A proper comedy duo.
they don’t need to learn shit and still make 10x more money than you while you sit down and “study” bike electrics to get a shitty mechanic job lmao brutal
You keep saying coil wire, do you mean high tension plug wire? You could pull it off of any other bike. And you also keep saying relay, do you mean coil? A simple voltmeter will tell you if you have voltage to the coil and an on off signal from the CDI unit. All coils work with an on off signal. With a look at the dipstick, I would be willing to bet that it may have melted the Statter or signal from the control . The CDI needs a signal for engine position before it can spark. It’s always fun to beat a piece of junk to death.😂
……. Nitro! Can you please do a crossover with Donuts Coleman nitro mini bike lol 😂 help then get over the 100 mph mark! They help nitro and Boom the Boom!!!!!
Rectifier is cooked ... 🙂 Thats the object you had in your hands with the melted wire .. I will add given the choice to walk or ride this bike , bike wins hands down everyday ...
Just because you guys can afford tools doesn't mean you should be allowed to use them. Literally the worst mechanics on the internet. Go buy a Power Probe (if you don't already have one) and learn how to use it. And while you are at it, a compression gauge, just listening to it crank over isn't quite enough. There might be kids watching and you are being a bad influence ;). And stumbling thorough this stuff like addled school children just sets a bad example, not to mention the people covering their mouths and pointing. ;) ;) Just saying.
If a kid follows this as a step, by step guide to diagnose a dead bike, then Darwinism has done its part. This is obviously 2 dudes just fiddling around hoping that something happens. NTM, that they don't care about the bike either.
Your little test is actually pretty dumb buddy. It's not going to really prove anything either way. This is an air cooled motorcycle and your letting the engine rev at high rpms as it sets there not moving. It's like taking the radiator off of a water cooled motorcycle and doing the same thing. By having the motorcycle set there not moving which means no airflow over the engine , your taking away it's cooling factor. It will overheat , just like any Japanese, European, or any other engine will do. At first I was excited to see how long it will last , then I realized the cooling will be removed from the factor and now it means really nothing.
When the plug wire shorts to ground for long enough it will take out the coil. Go get a coil and plug wire and it will run.
Well it will have spark anyways 😂😂 can’t guarantee it will run.
As someone who worked extensively with chinese vehicles this is most likely a stator or cdi failure. You will need a volt meter and about 10 minutes to figure out which is the issue. Yam: "I am not an idiot, maybe a little bit."
Adoring fans: "Don't sell yourself short, Yam. You're a tremendous idiot!"
It would have been pretty impressive and equally funny if it didn't have any oil in it and still made it that far lmao
@7:33. Somebody forgot a quack.
😅😅😅
And 11:55 lol
Yammie working in a hospital:
- surgeon: scalpel please.
-Yammie: scalpel ? Do you know which hospital you're in ? Nah man shovel. Best I can do.
underrated comment😂
Id almost be willing to bet the magneto, ignition triggering system around the flywheel is made out of the same chineseium as the dipstick, seen higher temperatures and met a more gruesome fate.
i really like this new guy lmao, good fit Yam
Lol😂 the odd thing is about all this content on this bike. You guys have just boosted the sales like 70% by showing just how steardy it really is.. Most any bike that lasts that long at full throttle will do pretty good on average riding. Great job guys 😂😂

The sidekick needs a shower. 😅
Lol, it overheated from lack of airflow and melted it's own dipstick. The wire is probably undersized

Love that they were trying to give these away to youtubers for good reviews
Honestly the welds on the frame don't look bad I say toss a 3 liter inline three and turbo it connect it to a 6 speed manual and send it.
Its a coil, not a solenoid, its a ht lead not a spark wire
You guys are way better riders than you are mechanics 😂
Do the same thing to one of the core 4 brands
Probably would have lasted longer if you had a fan blowing over the engine.
Did I hear a F bomb without a duck noise lol
lol u guys know those engines only gets shipped with some oil for rust protection right... thats not oil you should drive with 🤣🤣🤣 when i saw the first episode i already thought yammie wont you change the oil for real motorcycle oil ??? 😂😂😂😂
Watch this thing somehow defy what people think and refuse to stay down XD
Better be careful, Mr. surprised look eyebrows six months from now you're gonna be sitting behind a desk with Jamie explaining to us why he's getting rid of you
Weird to watch them buy a plug before testing to see if power is even being sent to the plug.. so easy to put a paper clip in the end and see if a spark jumps to ground.
If no fuses were blown then id say the coil shorted out.
These ship with transit oil thats supposed to be changed before you ride it the first time. At least my crappy falcon 250 did. Glad i sold it and bought a real bike.
Fake radiator is hilarious
to be honest, the paintjob on that bike when it's naked actually looks pretty sick.
lol..waiting for you guys to do the 'street fighter' bonus time on it and beat the shit out of the bike..
Impact wrench go BRRRRR next time you take apart a trash heap like that lol
NOW, put it in gear, unloaded WOT. 🎉
When you're finished messing around with this thing.. I want to see what happened to the turbo Hayabusa.
I don't think it's shipped with oil, the oily substance inside of the engine is not ment to lubricate the engine but to save it from corrosion and you should replace it with a new good engine oil and break into the engine since it's brand new, i feel so frustrated of you guys

You think he cares. Hell naw. This bike just proved to be better than what they were trying to potray.
@@synqelectric6163 yes I'm actually impressed
Comes with mineral oil, which is non-detergent SAE30 most likely. Should be good break-in oil for the first 30 miles or so.
3:18 Yes, it does ship with oil in it. It's garbage oil though lmfao, amazing that you never changed it.
Everyone knows step 1 of Chinese bike ownership is to change the oil. Ridiculous.
Ignition coil is probably crapped out, most of those Chicom motors use the same type of coil and they are absolute garbage
Mine lasted 1,200mi. Coil, CDI were like $15.
Wait 1 damn minute, in yammi and brando can’t ride…. Then I’m an toddler on a baby’s trike showing all the fellow toddlers my big wheel 😂😂😂.
Thought that was a 300 for a second.. then I remembered the bike from China 😂
This boom is a clapped out masterpiece
Are you getting power to the coil? If you are getting power, then you have a bad coil. And with low voltage ignition coils, like what that one has, it won't have enough power to jump the wire and the spark plug gap. So, new coil, new wire and see where it goes
This company HATES you for this LOL
Honda thumper clone dies like a Honda thumper? Dead CDI unit?
Does the engine have an oil level/temp sensor? No oil, no spark.
Or its the ignition module from grounding of spark plug wire
If it's not broken, fix it until it is 😜👍‼️
@5:47 These are the things that memes are made of....
Haha I just realized that had recently bought a grom with a BOOM slip-on
Those damn high impedance air gaps. Always a problem.
It's shipped with baby oil😂
You guys seem so stoned in this video and rightfully so I couldn’t deal with that bike
🤣🤣🤣the dead thing needs to die? Crazy. He's not a complainer just get him one of those "tachometers". But yeah, that looks like a good time👍👍👍👍
Did the Boom people ever reach to you again??
Gixxer knows how to ride.
aircooled needs to move
if you rev it if you revved it stationary check that the wires from stator pickup did not melt of too right where they come out of the casing if it doesn't get the signal to spark it won't spark, if you don't have new plug screw driver inplace of the plug also works, naturally you want to be sure you touch the metal part then you will immediately know it is sparking if it does JK

You're supposed to blur out the license plate so nobody steals the bike.
I definitely predicted melting something.
@yammienoob your thoughts on the the triumph rally pro 1200cc
Was it ran with the shipping oil this whole time?
Why does Yammienoob support ignore all ,my requests for help with cancelling my subscription?
If you read the Terms and Conditions it tells you how to cancel. It's pretty simple and automated if you log in to your account.
How about starting a BOOM race championship?
Get a craigslist special bike next
Now you gotta do a cross country ride with her lololol
why are you calling a ignition coil a solenoid?
Swap the engine for the GS500’s 2cilinder and i bet you’d have a pretty fun bike
A fake radiator! Why? Does anyone like the way that radiators look? Hilarious.
Do you guys know the difference between a solenoid and a coil ??
Rebuild the 230cc engine and put it in a TaoTao 125cc Hellcat.
Whistlin' Noob
Jeez it's like watching a 17yr old "build" a race bike lol
Just put the old oil back lol
Get a new coil to get her running again and get out the tape
It's a Chinese factory I'm pretty sure a six year old might have wired your bike. Tiny hands ya know.
Wasn’t a good test anyway it’s air cooled and you had no fan in front of it
Well it deserved to be boomed
It ain't got no gas in it
maybe kill the kpr 200 next although that one is better and has liquid cooling. would like to know your feedback though
It's basically a scooter with scooter parts. super cheap and cheap to fix
just two squids working on a ebay bike hahaha
After watching these videos on this bike you got me wanting to get one. This looks more fun than riding LOL
LETS GOOOO!
coil is toast!!

Willing to bet the coils bad
……. Nitro! Can you please do a crossover with Donuts Coleman nitro mini bike lol 😂 help then get over the 100 mph mark! They help nitro and Boom the Boom!!!!!
Smh china, fake radiator lmao
They even did a faked Radiator in boom wkwkwkwk
All bikes life matters
Can I buy the engine from you?
Rectifier is cooked ... 🙂 Thats the object you had in your hands with the melted wire .. I will add given the choice to walk or ride this bike , bike wins hands down everyday ...
IDKW but I feel like the engine would still be hot after all that abuse 😆
That’s a coil not a celinoid
Try voltage regulator
Throw it in the ocean
Low oil Is censorable cut Ignition
….so, is it a good bike?
Absolutely not
Coil or stator fried
Don't blame Brandon. He has a hostile work environment..

it is useless. We all know that such channels are just milking cows. They don't care about bad influence, they think that ignorance is funny.
Cry
this is the funniest comment of the day
huge kek all around, like the spark wont jump that gap????? i could fix this for 10$ with a walmart multimeter and chewing gum.
That's some quality communist engineering right there. 😂

Poop on a stick
Just wire in a coil from a car
