Im having my 3rd kid, and the advice "make your first shower after baby about loving yourself and not about basic hygiene" (paraphrase) is the dopest piece of advice I've ever heard about post partum care in the hospital. You just went thru the emotional and physical ringer of your life. This is a solid idea. Good eye
YES! a shower post birth is the best!! I had a c section after 12 hours of labor and that first shower.. was HEAVEN. Totally recommend bringing whatever will make you feel refreshed and happy
I was SO glad I packed a bunch of skincare products in my hospital bag. You’re right, after going through a pretty traumatic labour the relief of being able to shut myself away and do something that made me feel a bit more normal was so important for my mindset, particularly since I ended up being in for a week following a premature delivery. I used everything I packed, but even if I hadn’t…who cares? Better to have it and not need it than viva versa.

I'm currently 6 months pregnant in Berlin and I myself am terrified of what could eventuate across all of Europe and the world. It's all just too awful to comprehend. I'm originally from Melbourne Australia and am missing home so much, but honestly nowhere on planet earth seems safe from threats these days :( I'm also here watching Sarah to hopefully take my mind off it all for even just a little while.

Best Advice On Key Dilemma: Colored key caps!! That way you just need to match up the keys to assigned locks. We had many buildings on our little farm and that was one way to quickly grab the key that is needed. Hope this help. Prayers and blessings!❤️

Sameee, I’m a week behind with baby no.1 but due to previous cervical issues (like sarah) I’ve had surgeries to keep baby in as he nearly arrived at 22 week. So baby could come at any point now and not around his due date in March 🤗💓

Going into labor during a thunderstorm, I feel this in my soul. This is my dream. Our baby is due in August. Here is Kansas City, August is prime for thunderstorms but also tornadoes. Low amniotic fluid maybe is why it’s smaller? If you drink a ton of water, it will increase. I’m currently in that situation and the water thing has worked for me.
You need a system for those keys, when I worked in the casino we used this system. Buy those tiny colored sticky dots, put one (let’s say) blue dot on the lock, then the same color on the key for that blue lock. Rinse and repeat for all the locks giving each lock and key a different color. Problem solved, sanity restored 🙂

I remember feeling smaller in the last month of my pregnancy and i was concerned too, but my midwife reassured me that baby just dropped lower into my pelvis which is so good! I wonder if that’s why you feel smaller too!
