Hunting dangerous animals on the NEW African map (Tikamoon Plains) | Way of the Hunter

Hello and welcome back to Way of the Hunter! A lot has changed since we last played. There are several new maps, with the newest being an African map called Tikamoon Plains. I had a great time tracking down kudu, dodging attacking lions, and sniping hyenas and warthogs, so get ready for more episodes in the future!

played around 1000 hours in the hunter cotw...and the way of the hunter is a blast its so much more immersive and feels more real than the "forest shooter" cotw

Just a pro tip from someone who has sank countless amounts of hours into this game, never shoot a young anything. You could run into shooting a 100% genetics one again, the herd management is crazy in this. Never shoot a two star adult, or a 3 star because they could be 4 or 5 stars. Use callers for everything so you can take out low fitness animals and have way more 5 stars running around. Also, you can set the FOV in photo mode to 30 to see way further

Cotw cc's focus on grind after grind is getting out of hand imho. They are hurting the game more than they think...I cant stand more grind videos, so I'm turning to woth and enjoying the game atm. Sooooooo, great video and keep them coming!

To add to the realism and enjoyment of the game and honor to the animals if the game lets you, you could track each animal after a bad shot. I am from South Africa and I know hunters will track down their quarry after a bad shot, it allows them to dispatch the animal, stop the animal suffering and profit from the quarry. I suspect this added challenge will add more enjoyment to the game for you guys aswel .

COTW has Lesser Kudu, which are much smaller than the Greater Kudu. Greater Kudu usually weigh 2 or 3 times as much as the lesser.
