Ego string trimmer review 2024 first time user not combination version

Had my son try out the Ego trimmer I have had awhile now about a few months. It takes a lot of getting used to. Especially the opposite spin of the head versus my Stihl trimmers. Also there are some blind spots to it especially using it upside down to edge. It’s very hard to do. But the worst aspect so far is getting more string to come out. It’s almost impossible to get more string to come out. You can bang it and nothing. It has to almost be gone for more to come out. The reload is also very difficult to do. Even with the easy auto load. It doesn’t catch the new string properly. At this time I don’t recommend anyone to buy this.
