Mans is really in the 6 now, ahlie. Again, not many food TH-camrs are coming through Scarborough to have Guyanese food and chopping it up with some of the best Chinese Jamaican patty chefs in the city. This is like how Drake and real Torontonians came up and live - now you can understand the Caribbean influence that you hear in the music coming from Toronto, it's a big part of the soul of the city. David is a REAL one. The guy goes to London and he's chilling in Southall. That's just the type of guy he is, he goes to where the real immigrants and blue collar people are to get the real food and have real conversations. David just comes across as an around the way guy you knew from childhood growing up, no matter what city or country he is in - the opposite of these mainstream youtubers you see that have no clue about posting up in 1980s style strip plazas and going to the mom and pop spots. 😂 Thumbs up if you want to see David do an Albion Road Trini food tour in Rexdale and eat some roti on the stoop in Jamestown while EZ On The Motion is blasting in the background. That's the real 90s vibe, coming home from your factory job on the TTC bus and picking up some nice boneless chicken buss-up-shot roti and sweet juice or even just an Islington station patty-on-a-bun after a long day at work. 😂
Shereen's is legendary. I bought 3 massive salara slabs for my engagement party. My husband is Persian and his family literally could not get enough of it!! Big ups to David for showing off our food and culture❤
My dad used to love going to Shereen's before he died. My mom's side were indentured laborer's, as well. They were from Madeira. Thank you for showing a bit of our Guyanese culture. It was nice to see you visited Scarborough. You guys actually were driving in my area.❤
Thanks for hitting up my city, David. im a long-time subscriber. You're the reason l visited Trinidad and Dominica last year. Big all my caribbean brothers and sisters

Well, well David. Welcome back to my City of Toronto. I remember you saying that you were coming here: too bad I didn't get the chance to meet you. Toronto is such a big city of diverse cultures and foods and I am happy to see you enjoying some of them. Foods that you can find from every corner of the world right here in Toronto. Everything that you have eaten so far looks delicious and the bonus is seeing how the food is prepped and cooked. Looks like you really enjoyed your visit here. I was so happy to see Nathan: he hasn't changed at all. Keep up the good work. Love and blessings to you and your family..🙏🏻❤️
The black eye peas cake or ' chinese cake' are calledmoon cakesby the Chinese. It is Chinese in origin. Many Chinese moved to Guyana in the early British days.
So proud to be from Toronto and that Toronto food scene is just too big, graced with celebrity chefs, and that the West Indies scene food is just amazing. Beef patties and Oxtail forever🇨🇦💖💕
Pepperpot....currirs...plait breads.....so much good foods there!!! also the Chef really knows the foods....another great showing of the diverse foods in Toronto...Thanks David have a safe blessed weekend....Peace.
@ShabanandHailey: hi Shabana and Hailey . It's so nice to make contact with you both again. Girl, after David stopped doing his live chats, I joined in on a TH-cam channel in Trinidad and everything was going well until lately things turned sour. I have left the channel so I am back to following David fully. I just wish that occasionally David would do a live chat but I know how busy he is now that time doesn't permit. Anyway, I am here so we can continue to communicate with each other. Take care of yourself and Hailey 🙏🏻❤️❤️

Ritz is the best jerk chicken in the world I think. Literally just slides off the bone, I've never had any type of chicken that juicy and succulent. I think it is literally bubbling in a pot all day for hours for it to get like that.
This was a lovely episode. @Davidsbeenhere, if you are in the GTA for a while, please consider touring the Indian Hakka restaurants. I believe the GTA has the largest number of Indian Hakka restaurants outside of India.
