I think there is a mix of both self and bus powered where u can connect it to an outlet but the adapter is not given by the seller of the power can be drawn for the usb port also

Long term use of usb hub can damage your motherboard I think if you connect multiple devices which require power , my motherboard started giving ‘ usb over current ’ problem and would shut down after 15 seconds maybe the usb socket on mother board got damaged internally and gone into protection mode and will require repair.
Hi Brother, I don't understand hindi much however what I understood is we need self powered usb hub for connecting multiple drives to PC/Tv. I want to connect hard drive, usb and keyboard to my tv. My usb keeps disconnecting. If I use self powered usb hub there will not be disconnection anymore. Is that correct? Please suggest.

Purchased the QZ 10 USB hub externally powered Version. But after use for about 6-8 Months, the power adapter stopped working and there is something faulty with the hub as well. Since it costs about 4-5k. Kindly requesting other users to check more reviews of the product before purchasing.

Is that for external power supply, but still it can run multiple devices like keybord mouse etc.
I usually connect this with my mobile, and it draws it's current from my mobile, resulting draining battery fast, So should I use the external charger for the HUB
