I’m married with 3 kids and I’m just touching the higher tax bracket we only have one income and living pay to pay I’m a service engineer and work hard with my hands keeping plant running regularly doing 50-60 hours a week. Before COVID we had 2-3 hundred a month spare in my wage to buy holidays and treat the kids now it’s a struggle and I’m classed as one of those rich that need to pay more when I’m struggling to provide for my kids I jumped on a really cheep mortgage in 2021 1.3% for 5 years if things don’t change I don’t know what I will do when it runs out we will be in dire poverty and will have to make choices of heating or food.
